As a traveling Nurse i live in my car and drive about 40K miles a year through the Tri-State and need maintenance etc more often than most others. I felt my alignment was off and went to TownFair tire and they quickly discovered that one of my Control Arms was shit and this was a repair that had to be made ASAP to avoid a major cluster F while driving. I was recommended Blackman's by the TownFair folks(great guys by the way) and i headed over there 4p on a Thursday with no appt. The staff i met were so amazing nd just regular guys who happen to be experts in anything car related.....they have all been mechanics their whole lives and i had my car back and good as new in less than 36 hrs. truly amazing interactions and i feel blessed to have found these guys and will be going there exclusively for all my family and friends car needs and i highly recommend this place in case you couldn't tell!!

To our knowledge, we had a nail in the tire from the morning and got it plugged. However we noticed while getting the back tire plugged that one of the front tires were balding. We called a BUNCH of places for prices for tires and installation and Firestone in Danbury had the best price. At first, we didn't think we could make it to the shop in time for all four tires to be replaced, so we were okay with purchasing the tires and taking them back to our zip code to get them installed. However upon arriving to the shop about 30 minutes to closing on a Saturday evening, we happened upon the same representative we spoke with over the phone: Reese Simpson. He had the tires available obviously, but said he would help us out with the installation, being we were over an hour away from home and it was on and off raining/sleeting in the are (mind you it's June -.-). Reese explained that all of our tires were on their way out, and we had done the best thing, but was just happy he could help us. The pricing was exemplary, the service was superb, and the speed was shocking. We were on our way just before 6PM, closing time. Bottom line, with all the mixed reviews, if you want 5-star service ASK FOR REESE SIMPSON!! Please give Reese a raise or promotion. The man is the definition of a proper businessman/laborer.
