History

Established in 1996.

Originally founded in 1996 as Purple FM (and later Purple 107), before rebranding in 2004 to Purple Radio. Today, Purple Radio has a wide listener base across the world.

Meet the Manager: Matthew L.

Matt Lea became the manager in March 2016. Since then, highlights have included the biggest rebrand in its history and a 100% increase in the radio station's floor space introducing two new studios and a larger office. The next manager will take over in March 2017.
