We ended up getting trapped in the back room for a while due to a man in mobility scooter demolishing an entire rack of glassware next to the only exit from the room. We considered lighting a cigarette to mask the smell. Our experience combined with reading all of the negative reviews has given us hours of entertainment.

When I got here, after a couple of days rain, it was forecasted to go up to 80 degrees which, for me is HOT, HOT, HOT! I tried the GW, but that was a waste of time, then went to this store. As before, all of the women working there were very friendly and helpful. I wear a larger women's size (18), but instead of the 1 t-shirt I was looking for, I found about 12-15 items that fit and that I loved. Almost everything was only $4 each, so it was a amazing day at the thrift store!!! They also have a large selection of costume jewelry and, although I didn't find anything this trip, this is a great store for this type of item as well. Everything is nicely displayed and well organized so you don't need to spend hours, pouring through clothes that don't fit or are not what you're looking for. This is far and away the best thrift store around!

I moved here from Bend, Oregon, and the prices are much lower (although still too high) compared to where I am from. The employees are extremely helpful and kind. I've found many treasures there that I've been searching for a while. I could on and on about how a used tee shirt should not be $10, but who will care? Certainly not Goodwill. So, I prefer to focus on the customer service and how clean/organized the store is. Friday - Sunday are insanely busy and it gets very cramped in there. Best to go other days of the week if you ever get a touch of claustrophobia or just can't stand crowds of people.

It's one of the best places I've come across in years that carries both women's and men's vintage fashion from all different eras. Bobbi already had the best bargains already and today she had a large assortment of clothing 50% off. Gorgeous clothes, jackets, shoes, hats, handbags, jewelry..you name it. The staff were very helpful yet I didn't feel pressured at all. The store was clean and comfortable, well arranged. I will have to go here every time I'm in Brookings. Love it!
