Purolator the shipper that doesn't ship, I receive a call a week after ordering stating I'm outside their delivery zone. If I had known this Vender was using Purolator now, I would not have placed the order in the first place. Useless. Consistently deliver packages to one of their depots 40 km from my house when there is a depot 12 kms away. Pulled into my yard once to del8ver a medical monitoring device. Six weeks later the hospital asked us to call Purolater and send the device back. We called, they insisted they did not serv8ce this area. Duh! You ever hear about GPS. When I call a bus8ness to order something I always ask who they use for delivery. If they say Purolater I will try to order from another business. read more

I was home... got a notification on my phone for camera motion. Checked and it was Purolator. Went outside to get my box a few seconds later and noticed in the fresh snow. Footprints going from the tire tracks to the kitchen window within inches to have a peek inside the house. Now on hold for 30min trying to speak with someone. read more

Disappointing that Amazon continues to use Purolator for deliveries as they consistently missed their shipping deadlines and have issues with their feel of airplanes. In the event of a snow day, they will take at least two additional days to deliver packages. Heaven forbid you have to pickup from the local depot, they are incredibly rude and demanding. read more

The driver pulled up to my building, punched something into his little computer thing and drove away. I checked the tracking it said delivery attempted and note left. There was no note left and driver didn't even get out of his truck. This has happened to me several times with purolator. The driver for my area is lazy leave instructions to use buzzer with buzzer number and he pulls up and drives away without even getting out of the truck. I have watched this happen twice and my neighbour has watched it happen several times. It is unfortunate because the office staff are such nice friendly people eager to help. read more

Got an update that I wasn't home. Sat here all day waiting, only to find out I was one block off his route and that he would not bring it. Was told that the one block deviation could cause the next customer to be late or not get his package. So, it's ok for me to not get my package, but not ok for the next customer to not get his. Nice job, Purolator! read more

Purolator is the only company that will not deliver to my house. We are out in the country and I see them out here but will not come down our road. Even Canada Posts little trucks will come, but not them. When I asked why. They said not on there route. Not happy when I know they drive by. If I could I'd ask everywhere I order from. Not to go through them. read more

Today they delivered a Card board box to me and left it 15 feet from my door in the rain. I saw him coming so I was walking to the door, but he dropped it and left before I got to the door. I phoned customer service and was told to talk to the people who sent it. read more

They don't deliver! Expect to wait an extra day and pick it up yourself. The drivers do not deliver to most addresses in thunder bay, they will simply mark you off as not home and take it back.. nothing like a hard days work eh? I waited at my front door today for a package and was marked as not available, this is standard, I have never successfully received a package at my door from this company. read more

Tried to deliver a package but I wasn't home. Left a note saying they'd try again another day. I called and said I was going to be working between the lengthy drop off time they offered for another day. Requested I pick it up at their location. They said they'd call when it came in to their store-4 or 5 days later. They never called after 6 days I got a call from them saying this was their 'final' attempt to contact me or the package would be returned to sender. Had to take time off work to go get my package. Staff was less than helpful, no one accepted responsibility. Will be using Fed Ex from now on. read more

Terrible service. I shipped a package to my mother from California to Thunder Bay. It shipped June 30th and as of today (July 14th) it's still not in her possession. It was supposed to be delivered on the 12th. It's been sitting at the Thunder Bay Purolator location for three days with no movement or action. I called them to ask if my mother could pick up the package, and after waiting 40 minutes to connect with someone (also unacceptable) I was rudely told that information about the package can't be given because it was shipped by UPS, and that I needed to contact them. I asked him how UPS will be able to answer whether people are permitted to pick up packages at one of their Purolator locations, and he just said the same thing over again. I'll never ship a package to her again that exchanges hands with Purolator. Completely useless. Terrible business practice to keep someone's package for days for no reason without an answer as to if they can pick it up to expedite the transfer. read more
