Overall: avoid PureSkin Laser Clinic! The staff here are crooks and they just want your money and will cancel your appointment last minute for a stupid excuse. I had read some reviews prior to purchasing this Groupon deal. I was a bit skeptical about this place because of the poor rating it had on Google Reviews. However, the reviews on Groupon were a bit better and a couple of my other friends also purchased this deal saying the results were good. So I went ahead and bought it. I went into the clinic and I got to say the staff was not as welcoming, which I had expected because of the reviews. But I'm mainly there for the product so I didn't mind. I had scheduled an appointment with them 6 weeks in advance, however, the night before my appointment they called me to cancel because their machines are not 'working'. They had cancelled through voicemail because I was unable to answer the call. They had told me they would call me back the following week to reschedule my appointment but never did. I tried calling them every day, at least 3 times a day but reaching them was unsuccessful. Their voicemail is always full, but they probably would never return my calls if I had left a message anyway. The receptionist and staff do not care about customer service and they're really unorganized. A few days later, I went back onto Google reviews again to find out that other girls had the same issue a couple weeks back, how their appointments were also cancelled. If they had a problem with their machine for a couple weeks now, why would they call me the night before? I kept on reading more recent reviews and a bunch of girls had shown up to their appointment for nothing because the clinic was 'closed'. They did not bother to tell these girls, or they had previously cancelled their appointment and rescheduled a new one for nothing. Neighboring stores had told some of the girls that they've seen a bunch of customers come and go because they had a scheduled appointment as well but the place was closed. This is ridiculous because the clinic never called these girls and what if some of us had to travel a long distance to get to the clinic? It seems like this place is going downhill for poor customer service and canceling clients' appointments, stealing our money. I had complained to Groupon customer service because I am not paying for a service that I did not fully receive. They were gladly able to refund me since it was my first Groupon experience, and hopefully the transaction will process shortly (it has been 3 days since I contacted them). read more

I have recently returned to Pure Skin laser for my follow up visit. I have now been a total of 3 times for laser treatment. I'm getting a full Brazilian and the back area done as well here. Sabrina is my technician and she's been really great. So far she's been patient with me as I'm very sensitive and hate getting this treatment done. I always use a numbing cream and/or ice the area to be treated before my appointment and I find this helps a great deal. The treatment room has changed to a different room in the spa. It is closer to the front and there is more space in the room. I don't find much of a difference in rooms as I usually focus on not feeling the laser so my eyes are usually closed. Lol. However The technician Sabrina says she enjoys the space the room has. I've had to reschedule a few appointments in the past and they are always willing to accommodate. Sometimes they take a while to call back but they always return my call. The location is quite far from me about a 30 min drive maybe even more in traffic. But so far I don't mind the drive as I have seen great results after only 3 sessions. I still have at least 5 sessions to go. The only downside to the location is having to pay for parking. It's not very much but I would prefer not to pay for parking as I always have to make sure I have change. read more

I was going through my old emails in 2012 and remembered the horrible experience I had with them. glad to see this business has closed down according to Groupon reviews. I bought the 1 year unlimited laser removal and paid an extra $200 to upgrade to the painless machine. After 4 sessions, they completely stopped picking up my calls, answering emails, replying to my voicemails. Yet when I sent them an email through my alias account with another name inquiring about a package.. they were very quick on following up with me for a consultation appointment within a few hours! I had a groupon for a year's worth of laser hair removal and completed two treatments before experiencing one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. The technicians themselves were nice and proffessional, one more than the other, but the front desk people... wow. I had called to reschedule my third appointment because I was running late and was met with attitude and told id be charged 35$ for missing my appointment. I told them Id try to make it but id be late and they said fine. When I get there I was berated like a child, told the technicians were losing money because of me (how?). They refused to serve me after id travelled over 2 hours by ttc to make it there, let me be clear, the whole team was there confronting me so they were clearly not serving anyone else and I was the only customer in the reception area. Not only was I refused, I was told I had to pay over a $100 in missed appointment fees if I am to book another appointment. I had never been made to feel like that as a customer in my life, I left very upset and contacted groupon immediately. I bought a Groupon here for laser hair removal within a six month time period. It's been five months now and I've only been able to use one session because it is literally impossible to reach this company over the phone. They have not once answered the phone, their voicemail is always full and they never call you back. Like other posters I got the "our machine is broken" cancellation, with no follow up to reschedule and they never returned my phone calls. At this point I am almost positive they do this on purpose to Groupon customers to try to con money out of them. The one session I attended started 25 mins late. There was no receptionist, just an empty desk, and when the technician finally came out 20 mins later she simply stared at me and didn't greet me or say anything. I literally had to go bug her at the desk to get my appointment started. It was very strange and awkward. I've asked Groupon for a refund which is currently pending. read more

I found this deal for $19 (mani, pedi + eyebrow waxing) and decided to try it out. Very nice lady but emphasizes on the cleanliness of the clinic too many times. Constantly trying to sell us her products even though she does not have much knowledge on them. Mani and pedi were mediocre. She was not trained to give them as our cuticles were worse than they were. She doesn't know how to give eyebrow waxes either. My eyebrows were unsymmetrical and doesn't even look like they were done. And they couldn't accommodate two guests. Overall, we wouldn't return to this place. read more

Used a Groupon for the one year laser treatment (8 sessions approx). I had two sessions left and they called to cancel my appointment only a few hours notice before saying the machine was down. I was told that they would call back when they had the repair person fix it and surprise surprise haven't had a call in over a month. Sessions are supposed to be every 6 weeks so technically I missed out on one because they didn't call me back. I called many times and no one answers. I heard laser is supposed to be pain free (last time I had it done it was) but this machine does feel like someone is putting a lighter against your skin at certain points. The laser technician was only friendly on one single occasion of 5 or 6, also the secretary was only friendly once or twice as well, otherwise you get a very unfriendly vibe out of the place. Also just an FYI they do not have their own free parking it's paid street parking but not too expensive for just going in and out in 15 minutes. Only reason I'm giving it 2 star instead of 1 is because the results were noticeable, especially compared to the last machine I used somewhere else. Although it does hurt more as well so it's give and take. I think a person would definitely need more than one year of sessions to be hair free (or close) so don't expect this to be your one and only treatment. Also read from another review that they use the same gel for more than one area which is true and I found it gross as well especially since it's going on 'special areas' it's very unsanitary. For the price you pay they should not be so cheap about the gel used. read more

I am greatly disappointed with the business practices at this company. The business themselves take weeks to return your voice mail message; no one answers and their voicemail inbox is almost always full. On several occasions, they called to cancel my pre-scheduled appointment. With laser treatments, I have to book them 6 to 8 weeks in advance, and given that my package is valid for 1 year of laser hair removal treatments, it means I am not able to fully utilize my package fully to receive the maximum number of treatments possible within the year. When an appointment is cancelled, it delays my treatment often for another few weeks since they claim they are fully booked (however everytime I have been at their clinic, I never see any one waiting in the room when I arrive or when I leave....). Most recently, I booked an appointment weeks in advance and then receive a voicemail message from their staff a couple of days before my appointment date to inform me that their clinic will actually be closed that day and I need to reschedule my appointment. I do not understand why they would schedule me on a day when they are not operating - no reasons were given either. It took me several phone call attempts over 3 days before I was able to reach a live person on the phone (her name was Sabrina), in which I expressed my concerns about how it is extremely frustrating that they continue to cancel appointments meaning I would not be able to fully utilize the number of treatments within the 1 year package. Sabrina did not address, acknowledge, or validate my concerns and just said she can actually book me in for an appointment the next day for 3:15pm. I was okay with that since they were able to book me in sooner and agreed to the appointment for the next day. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to find that their business was "closed" - the door was locked and the "closed" sign was up as well. Both their voice mail recording and the sign at the front of their business listed hours indicating that on Fridays they are open from 10:00am to 6:00pm. I have called them and left two voice mail messages so far, requesting a call back. I have not heard back from anyone... On another note, their staff are not welcoming or friendly. I decided to just tolerate this since I was going in for the treatments, but the fact that they are not allowing me to even receive services by frequently cancelling my appointments, rescheduling me for a day when they are not even there makes no sense to me if they are looking to build a positive reputation and to provide excellent customer service. I also question their machines whether they are the Soprano XL manufacturer, cause they are so painful. I have had these treatments completed at other clinics, and they are completely pain-free. I am upset and wanted to receive a refund. I have asked for that with the staff member I was on the phone with, but she said I need to speak with the manager who is not in at the moment. I have not heard back from them and I have tried to call them numerous times but their inbox once again is full for the past week. I was able to finally leave a voice mail message requesting a call back from their manager or their manager's number so I can reach him/her, but have not heard back - not surprised at all. I highly doubt I will hear from them. I feel the business has great potential, but has issues with their practices and should take the time and efforts in working on improving those if they hope to be successful in what they do. I bought a groupon from Pureskin laser clinic a few months ago. I booked my first appointment with them & had to reschedule a few times due to my work schedule. When I arrived, I felt it was very unwelcoming & not very friendly. I proceeded with the laser & it felt like a torch to my skin. I didn't want to complain as I did reschedule a few times but the service was a quick 15mins service. I booked another appointment because I had already paid for the groupon. Yet again, I did need to reschedule due to work but was not received another call back for an appointment. It's been 3 weeks now & I've tried calling but the voicemail is full. They have not called me back & my service was unprofessional. They used the same gel on my underarms for my brazilian to save product. It was not hygienic at all. I want a refund. avoid this establishment. i was not happy with my results after paying several hundred dollars and 8 treatments. i called repeatedly (several times) and sent emails to the owner sabrina and she never returned my calls. all i asked was if i could come in and she could look at my legs and then we could discuss how to proceed. again, the owner, sabrina never called me back after my several attempts asking her to. very poor customer relations!! and poor quality of results. avoid this place at all costs unless you want to lose money, get poor results and have an owner who avoids getting back to you after she has your money. i have never written a review in my life, so believe me on this one!! read more
