Soho gyms prides themselves on being a gym that offers carefully selected locations to its members with "as much natural light and open space as possible". Be that as it may, I think we'd be remissed to not also admit to choosing locations based on the cost of their leases as almost none are all that easy to find from the local Tube stop (coming from a bike rider), most being at least a few block away, after taking numerous lefts and rights to find the destination.
The Borough location, yes, has ample sunlight and a good deal of space for each station, but the overall space of the gym itself is not all that accommodating. I could foresee this becoming very crowded during peak hours. Couple that with a lack of multiple pieces of the same equipment, and you have queues at the squat rack et al.
However, I found more than ample space in the locker rooms which begs the question: are there more people in the lock rooms than on the gym floor?
Still, if you could manage to get in during a non-peak hour I would say this is quite suitable for most people's needs and is relatively clean, which is a big plus. read more
