They installed the new one and asked my brother if he wanted them to "check it" (to make sure it worked). My brother said no, it was okay because he just assumed they would know what they were doing and had done everything properly. He trusted them to be professional. To me, you don't ask the customer if they want you to check your own work. Checking it is just part of your job. You need to make sure your work is correct and complete before leaving. They were here for 10 minutes. Charged $189.00. The heat doesn't come on. He called them back but they just said there was "something else" wrong. There wasn't something else wrong before with the previous thermostat. They expect more money if they come back to basically finish the job they started. $189.00 for ten minutes. We aren't rich. Most people aren't. We don't have wads of cash to pass out. Very unprofessional. And kinda fishy. (Just noticed that they have some pretty positive reviews. Not to negate them but those are also from years back. Has something changed in their business since then?)
