The first week of January is apparently holiday time for everyone in Australia. I reached out to family and friends for dentist recommendations...nothing! Then I went onto YELP and found this place....no one has ever reviewed. :-0! Scary! So I gambled Shot the dice I was in so much pain, I just needed relief and this place was ONE BLOCK AWAY! Its across the street from the big mall here I entered into the Dr's office and I was pleasantly surprised It was modern and sleek with a friendly receptionist. I filled out the forms The Dr saw me right away (BTW: this was an emergency appointment for me!) Dr Wu, I believe, was very calm and kind.... I had my X-Rays sent to me from the USA so he could see what was going on. WoW. Good thing he took another set of X-Rays and he found the issue with a slice of my old filling slipped in between my two back teeth! Oh the pain! The dentist dived in and worked hard for 15+ minutes to remove the sliver. OMG! He successfully did! Wow I'm so pleased This was the best dentist experience I've EVER had...(I'm 54!) I'm so happy I want everyone to know!! All,of it cost $100 , I have no insurance

You've got absolute top of the line equipment and machinery, 55" 4K Tv's mounted for you to watch in the chair, iPads to use for checking in; they've effectively reproduced the "Apple" customer service feel in a dental practice. Everything about the place is polished and premium. Having been to a few dental practices in Sydney, it's refreshing to see a place so well polished that isn't breaking your bank for going.

(For those who have never had the pleasure of wearing braces, one can easily burn through 8 - 10 of these daily.) Going without wearing them for an entire week was not an option: it would simply prolong the tedious process of adult braces. We decided to scope out an orthodontist in the Sydney area. The concierge at our hotel gave us a name of a dentist about eight blocks from our hotel. I must confess I was none too happy spending the first day of my vacation marching the beautiful metropolitan area searching for some mother blooming rubber bands. After a few wrong turns and 40 minutes later we walked into a dental office Down Under. Not where I expected to be on my first day in Australia. We waited, myself very unpatiently, only to find that they did have what we needed. We probed them for an alternative and were sent several blocks further south to Todays Dental. We trudged into their office and waited for some help. The receptionist was a bit confused as to what we needed: obviously this was not a typical request. Initially we were told we would need to see the doctor. I groaned inwardly, calculating the cost of this misstep. About ten minutes later Dr. Theresa Lee greeted us: an irritable wife and her long-suffering husband. We again explained the situation. She asked my husband several questions and briefly looked at his appliance. She smiled and said she would be back shortly. I figured she's thanking the dental gods for the extra ka-ching these two hapless Americans would be bringing. She returned moments later with a bag of the coveted rubber bands. She informed us that they are slightly different than what he had been using; explaining the differences. She handed us her business card and told us that if we have any questions or problems while in Sydney to contact her. She would be "happy to help." No charge. No fee. No hassle. Phew! Thank you, Dr. Lee, for helping us out. You certainly saved our vacation and might have just even saved our marriage!

Had some crowns done in 2014. I say "some": my impression was that I was getting one crown, until I…read morewent outside to pay my bill for the first part of the treatment, and found that they'd actually worked on two adjacent teeth. So - surprise! - I was up for twice the cost. What could I do, with two holes now waiting to be filled in my lower right jaw, but hand over my debit card, grin and bear it? A few weeks later, the two crowns were duly installed, and I was promised at least "fifteen to twenty years" of good use out of them, provided I didn't do anything foolish. As it happened, the first one fell out within eighteen months - while I was brushing my teeth! - and the second popped out less than a year later, while I was on holiday. I was eating an orange. Which didn't seem an especially foolish abuse of the procedure. But there you go. So, to recap: $3200 down, for a job that lasted about one-tenth as long as they promised. I now live in the US, and am now in the hole for almost USD10K in an attempt to fix what Dr Karyne De Agapito did. Given this, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that I hate her - for her crooked dealings in the first instance, and her shoddy workmanship thereafter - and that I wish this entire establishment ill.

Today I went in to simply have a tooth filled, and was told by the dentist I had a myriad of other dental problems, one of which was a "very acidic mouth environment". For that, fair enough. But this observation was followed by the presumptuous and frankly, plain rude inquiry of whether I'm a user of "party drugs". To which I declined, rather shocked. Thereafter, I was informed that I had worn my back teeth considerably by grinding, and that if I didn't do something about it soon, I would have "sagging", which is unfortunate because "I'm a very young girl". Considering also that the dentist appeared to be near my age, I felt this to be quite patronising. When I asked whether it was okay to swallow some bitter solution the dentist irrigated my mouth with, she replied rather condescendingly "well, we wouldn't put anything in your mouth you couldn't potentially swallow, would we". She then proceeded to mock her colleagues accent as they proceeded to have a conversation over the top of me. In my humble opinion, technical competence has little to do with exercising discretion or being respectful when dealing with people. I know, because I also work in customer service. I was stunned by the unprofessionalism this dentist displayed. Also for the apparently sorry state of my teeth! Though I'm sure this was an attempt to extort more money from me, which wasn't necessary considering for this visit, I was charged upwards of $380. I definitely wont be returning.

I thought this until I came here, they have great technology and the place is so clean I reckon you could eat off the floor. definitely a good choice for dentists.
