First of all, the price is very reasonable and the quality is AMAZING ! We made appointment with her 2 months prior to my son's arrival and we sent her 10 poses that we liked from her website. She also recommended us to come early to discuss about the poses so she could make them unique for us. I dont really understand those negative feedbacks that other people gave Tina like this is not a daycare. Her job is not to babysit your baby or YOU, her job is to take beautiful pictures for you or/and the baby which she does very well. We will definitely come back when my baby turns 1 year old :). HIGHLY RECOMMEND GUYS ! U wont be disappointed

When my first son was born, I took tons of photos of him, as new parents do, but I wanted some…read moreprofessional photos of him to hang on our wall. I hired a photographer to take these photos, but I wasn't very pleased with the results. I'd dressed my son in an adorable outfit and made the appointment for a time I thought he wouldn't be tired and fussy, but he started to cry during the shoot and the photographer, though friendly, seemed in a rush to finish and the entire process was not enjoyable. I didn't hire a professional photographer again until after my second son was born. A friend recommended Alex's services to me, so I gave her a call. I liked her approach even before meeting her. She told me what to do to prepare, not to worry if one or both of the kids were fussy, and that she wanted the shoot to be relaxed. She suggested we shoot in our home and backyard so that the boys felt comfortable in their own environment. She was so great with the kids - she took her time, encouraged me to interact with them, and it was overall a totally low-key, enjoyable experience. My boys are now 8 and 10 and I've hired Alex to take family photos every year as well as shoot some other special occasions and I've given out her info to numerous people. When I see the photos Alex has taken of our family, I love that she's captured the boys' personalities, the joy and love in our family, and that we have beautiful images I will treasure for the rest of my life.

One event was a quinceanera for my neice and the other was for professional company photos. Both times he was early and even gave us a discount on the services. Please do not hesitate to hire Neftali, he is an honest and hardworking man. best of all, he is a minority business owner who takes the pictures himself and is very involved in the day-to-day operations of his business. I'm so grateful to have found Amor Y Luna. This was our first family session and I was so nervous…read moreto book it because I'm shy in front of a camera and don't always love the pictures I take myself but it was important to me that these precious moments with my 2 little ones don't pass me by. So it was a big decision to make and it's a service I could hardly afford anyway. Not to mention the fact that as a mother of 2, it's nearly impossible to make plans. My kids are unpredictable and sometimes it feels impossible to get them out the door on time, especially in the same outfit they started in. Between nap times, feeding times, car tantrums, it can be so overwhelming. They're shy around new people too so I didn't know how to plan for that really and not every professional understands that. That was just the start of my hesitations. I started my search on google and found the same long beach photographers on repeat. I looked on yelp as well and got some folks recommended but they weren't close. I ended up getting a referal from a fellow mom on a facebook group and she had great things to say about their price ans quality. I reached out to Celia (and some other photographers) but Celia was the only one that called me, got to know my situation especially as a first timer, and talked me out of doing a mini session and doing a 30 min session. She suggested locations and even getting my little ones comfortable with bubbles so that could cheer them up during the shoot. She's a mother, knows how kids are and has experience photographing them. She was adamant about them having a good time and not ruining the photography experience for them which I never thought of. She and her husband showed up ready (to a new location at that), flexible, and executed better than I could have ever imagined. I got the photos back quick and the work speaks for itself. If this is your first time and ur a mom, book them! They are excellent with families, know the area, and don't charge an arm and a leg just because they can. THANK YOU Amor Y Luna. Support this husband and wife team and support BIPOC professionals.... Or just book because they'rethe best photo team out there!

My 2 year old was in a mood that day but Celia got her to come out of her shell & they captured such adorable pictures of her true personality vs forced smiles. I loved how our family portraits came out. We kept in touch because I knew I wanted maternity pictures by them. They did such a beautiful job on them. Here we are now on our 3rd session with Celia & Sthiv. We finally got pictures with our newest member of the family that they were there for since the very beginning. Idk how but they got our baby to smile so big for pictures even though it was his nap time and he was cranky. I'm so in love with these pictures of my little family & can't thank them enough for capturing us so well.
