After finishing the job and all invoices paid and cleared . When We moved in our new house we faced several unfinished / insufficients in painting as well. We sent email and she came accepted and took photos of all defects and promised to arrange sending his worker to fix the paintings . One week later to much of our surprize she claimed 2 invoices never seen and incorrect . We never expect such irresponsibility in the business. We all family are unhappy and having a bad feeling to see such cases while we have paid very expensive prices for painting and in total .

My husband is a man of few words. "Powell Painting is a High Quality Operation."…read moreI could not agree more, but want to elaborate. We survived the teen and school-age years much better than the interior of our house did. It was well overdue for a refresh 13 years after the last painting and our designer recommend Powell to tackle 2700 square feet up and down plus a 35 year-old popcorn stucco ceiling. I have to start with the ceiling (they did). It got planed and sanded, the HepaVac creating minimal dust with the crew painstakingly protecting all the floors, sealing doors and tidying up at the end of every day. Honestly such a worthwhile difference when it was done. Tanja the owner is very particular (more picky than I!) and has so much experience and good ideas, such as how to improve the worn look of our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. With a thorough knowledge of the best way to do things, best materials and best referrals (trades), she also offered great advice on colour and design. Her quote was comprehensive and accurate. Our painter (a drywall expert to boot) was easy to get along with, punctual, reliable, and so hard-working. On time and on Budget, everything was put back in order just as before. And the follow-up! Every detail attended to, they noticed little things to amend that we wouldn't have and ensured our absolute satisfaction. This company is truly Professional - Open, Honest, Fair, Considerate, Courteous, Friendly, Detail-Oriented, Careful and Precise. You cannot do better, stop looking.

To start, the estimate was very comprehensive and well thought out. Destin was punctual and professional and unhurried. Communication continued in the same manner throughout the job, and also at follow-up. We hired his team to wash and touch up our well cared for 115 year old house. The end result was more than we expected. It looks as though the whole house has been fully repainted. A few points about their process that made all the difference to our experience: Punctual. They arrived every day when expected, and shut down at the end of the day when expected. Clean up. Each day they did a great job gathering their materials and putting everything in a compact pile in an area that allowed us to use the outside area of the yard freely. On the last day, it was as if they had not even been there. Safety. Fully suited in clean painting PPE, and masks and respirators when needed, even in the heat of the season. Respectful. There was no blaring radio, no yelling, no swearing. (!) The guys all spoke to each other in a very friendly, calm and respectful way. They were really a pleasure to have at the house. Excellent work, excellent experience.

Cutting Edge was recomemded to us by a friend as doing good quality work for a fair price. After…read morethe work was compketed we were dissapointed in the quality of their work as it was somewhat "lazy' and rushed. Here's the breakdown: The Pro's -Super nice people from office staff, owner/estimator to painters!!! -On time start and finish as promied. -Proffesional in appearance and actions (not in quality of work) The Con's -Estimate was about 20% higher than other two quotes however CE could do the work almost immediately. -Rushed & Sloppy work: Did not remove switch or plug plates Crooked lines Asked that any wall damage be repaired. They did this downstairs but not upstairs. Broad brush strokes left on 6 light shades then spun around to the back so we did not notice, should of removed before painting. Missed several tight spots and left old colour of paint (old yellow vs new grey) Summary Very nice people, but bassed on our experience No we would not use them again or recommend to a friend. Full disclosure: We did not complain and CE did not get a chance to fix their work due to the fact that we had guests staying in the house for 1 month immediately after the painting.
