The shipping options were overwhelming - there were lots of choices and prices - so I decided to call and get a better idea of what I would be paying for. A real person answered the phone and he was great. He explained the ordering and proof process, typical turn-around time and shipping options. I told him my timeline and he recommended a shipping option. Very polite and helpful (sorry I forgot his name). I finished my order online, received a proof the next day, asked a question, got an answer, they made the buttons and shipped them. I received the buttons with 2 days to spare and they look great! I used Pure Buttons for an organizational event to create keychains. I went through their website and used their own customization tool to design my order exactly to my specifications. The system gave me a digital proof and allowed me to check out seamlessly. However, when my order arrived, it looked nothing like what I designed. Instead of the customized design I created, I received a keychain with the same single image printed on both sides. I immediately contacted Pure Buttons for a resolution; whether that meant a refund or being able to redo the order correctly (using the same customization tool I used the first time) at no additional charge. They refused. The only "solution" offered was a 50% off gift card; which could only be used at Pure Buttons. This made no sense. Why would a dissatisfied customer want to spend more money with the same company that mishandled the original order? Pure Buttons advertises "excellence" on their website, but they don't deliver on that promise. They also don't take accountability when things go wrong. Instead of making things right, they simply pass the problem back to the customer. Because of this experience, I will not use Pure Buttons again, and I do not recommend them for any customization needs. If you want reliability, accountability, and products that actually match your design, look elsewhere. read more

I've ordered from Pure Buttons a few times now and every time my order has been more than perfect as they have high quality products for affordable prices that are perfect for any budget! Their ordering system is also very cool as it basically gives you a proof of what your buttons will look like before you order them which is super cool and very helpful especially when you wanna change up the colors some! I ordered 500 buttons on May 12th for an event that I was having on May 27th. I asked multiple times if the buttons would arrive on time and they assured me that they would. I called on May 26th to ask about my delivery and they said that they didn't process the order, even though they issued me a receipt via email. They said that they could make the buttons but in order for me to get them by May 27th, I would have to pay for expedited shipping. They failed to process the order and want me to pay to fix their mistake?? No, thanks. I said I would need to cancel the order if it can't be here on time and they replied "ok, we have cancelled your order." Very disappointing and poor customer service. We are a school that would have purchased from this company again if we had a good experience and they took accountability for their screw up. read more

2019/11/22 - Do not do business with this company. There are many other companies who offer the same service for the same or similar price. Rating changed to 1 star. In addition to the SPAM issues outlined in the review below. Pure Buttons also shared my contact information with their affiliated company 'StandOutStickers'. I am now receiving SPAM from both companies and this is after a) requesting not to be contacted and 2) unsubscribing and receiving confirmation message that I was unsubscribed. Order was handled quickly, package arrived on time and buttons were great! This review is due to the post order actions of Pure Buttons and their repeated SPAM even after all unsubscribe steps were followed and confirmations were provided that "You are now unsubscribed". After placing an order in July 2019, I received emails and SPAM from Pure Buttons. I unsubscribed 3x in July 2019 but in September 2019 I received another SPAM email. Ok, let me try this one more time. I unsubscribed again in September 2019 so figure we are all set now. Skip ahead to November 2019 and "Josh from Pure Buttons" sent another SPAM email. One time is mistake, twice is a sloppiness or a little incompetence, three times is a just a willful disregard for the customer as well as knowingly lying when telling customers that "You are now unsubscribed". I am left with no choice but to block the purebuttons.com domain and will not do business with this company in the future. If you value your time and want to do business with a company who respects its customer requests then you may want to look someplace other than Pure Buttons. read more

Ordered with 2 day shipping so I'd have it at least a week in advance of my wedding. Emailed about ETA, they promptly responded and said the magnets will be produced in a day. With shipping, my order came 3 days later, 2 weeks before wedding instead of one! The quality of magnet is strong, making it actually useful! I ordered a 2x3" rectangle magnet. The magnet spans the entire rectangle instead of a small magnet glued on the back. The print looks good, maybe not as bright as the picture I uploaded, but the picture was from my phone so quality wasn't great to begin with. I really like that the image bleeds over the edge. The magnets came out to $1.50/pop since I bought a 100 pack and 50 pack, making it a very affordable wedding favor. The more you buy in bulk, the cheaper per piece. My first time ordering custom buttons to be made on a large scale (100) was made with Pure Buttons who I found through a Google search. From the look and feel of their site, I felt comfortable ordering with them and that they weren't a scam site or anything. Ordering was also super user friendly and I found myself distracted with browsing other promo items (stickers, button 4-packs) to even complete the order! Everything was super cheap and reasonably so for the result. I ordered the same image in two different colors and am absolutely thrilled with the result. I got my little package a week-a week and a half later in its shiny glory. Some of the pinbacks had been bent so they came out of the button itself, but pinbacks are pretty cheap in general and can be easily bent back. I chose not to have digital proofing done for me to save money ($10.00 extra) and also because I felt confident in my resizing/design on Photoshop. The template that PB has on their site is a great help. The buttons were for my senior art show and everyone loved them, but WHO DOESN'T LOVE BUTTONS?? I will definitely order with Pure Buttons again and use their sticker coupon that they included with my order. Wee!! read more

I used Pure Buttons for the first time to make a set of five buttons at an order of 100 per button, so 500 buttons in total. We had some unexplained communication issues involving Hotmail evaporating emails (I blame Hotmail, not PBs). There was an art issue that needed to be resolved but that didn't get attended to by me because my email from the Art Department just didn't show up. Again... Hotmail. I curse at you. To shorten the long story, I communicated with PB's customer service and was able to finally get in touch with Chad at Art. I fixed the art issue on my end, resent the buttons and got the order into production. Both customer service (Katie) and Chad from the Art Dept were super fast with their communication. One of my buttons had a lime green image that Chad was up front with me about it likely not printing exactly at colour. I can say that the buttons printed just fine after I authed the printing. They were not noticeably different, and I was aware of the chance they would be. With the communication issue I was, unfortunately, not going to get my buttons in time if they went as a regular, 7-10 business day order. I asked about a rush, and Chad was able to get them rushed for me at no extra charge. He, and PBs, could have easily told me, "We sent the email, it's not our fault your email client diverted/didn't receive it." They didn't do that. Instead they rushed my order, next FedEx next dayed it, and I have the buttons in my hands with time to spare. The only thing I would suggest is checking immediately inside your 7-10 business days. Email, if you don't get a response then phone them. In this digital age we to often think of emails as enough. Sadly, that just isn't always the case. I could have phoned them. Chad could have phoned me. I don't consider that enough to take away a star though because that responsibility is as much in my court as theirs, and they were fast to make sure that I got my buttons on time after the trouble was resolved. These things happen. In summary: Customer service was great. The website was easy to use. The ordering process was painless. The price was not cheap, but it was reasonable. The buttons themselves are not cheaply made and are priced for their quality. The turn around is lightning fast. The Art Dept is communicative when there are issues. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I placed an order and was told to include my instructions in the "Special Instructions" portion of the order form. There was no "Special Instructions" portion. I tried to use their contact page but it gave me an error every time. I left a (polite) message on their Facebook wall. No response.. I have also recommended them to various other individuals and organizations. In all cases the results have been great. I just received my order of 1,100 buttons from Pure Buttons and I am ecstatic. I am so impressed with their customer service and quality I felt compelled to yelp about it. This is the first time I've ever ordered buttons, it was for an extremely important client and event so I was a bit tentative. Josh and Joe in the Art Department were so helpful AND accessible, they really made it a stress free process for me. I ordered 5 different designs with varied quantities for each design. I found that their pricing was more competitive than other sites (even before the price match guarantee) and received a discount due to the quantity. I opted in for the $10 digital proofing charge, to be safe. The proofs were perfect, really no need however better safe than sorry! I've done two orders with PB on the recommendation of a colleague. I utilized the custom button designer option for 100 1.5" and 200 1.25" buttons. The designer is great, just upload your pic and adjust to your liking. It helps to see the 360 degree of the buttons as I needed to make adjustments on both. Once designed and purchased on Tuesday afternoon, they provided shipping + tracking by Thursday morning. Needless to say, I was impressed at the quick turnaround. Supporting semi-local (yay Midwest) is a big deal to me and it also allowed for a speedy delivery. Great quality, great price, and super easy to design! I didn't even bother to photoshop an image to import - their in-site builder was all I needed. We ordered magnet buttons on a Tuesday, and the next day we realized that we'd need them much sooner than we'd thought (that Friday instead of the following Monday). I knew production had already started, so I thought our chances were slim. I called up customer service, and a super kind and helpful representative went out and checked on production for me, and told me she could make it happen and have them delivered by Friday morning! I'm deducting one star simply because the order ended up being more than twice as expensive after a rush production charge and ground shipping. (Ground shipping alone increased my order cost by more than 50%.) A free shipping option on such a small, light package would be nice. We have used pure buttons 2 years in a row to order buttons for a fundraiser for our non-profit and have been thrilled every time! First year was a very simple order but I ordered late in the game and was concerned about getting the buttons on time. I used the live chat feature to ask if I should pay for expedited shipping and was told no- they assured me they would arrive on time. They were on my door step in 3 days in perfect condition. This year I placed an order, then decided to add a second and third design option to the order a few days later. They turned around all three designs and had them on my door step 4 days after my first order (OH to NY). There was a small imperfection in one of the button designs I ordered and when I contacted the rep I'd worked with he asked me to send a picture, which I did. Immediately after sending I had an email between the customer service rep, myself, and the art dept apologizing for the mistake and assuring me they would be rerun and shipped the same day at no charge! 2 days later they were on my doorstep!!
