There are "day" and "night" special offers, new every day. Tourists can visit several days in a row and not get bored. Live music ranges from classic rock/blues (Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Dire Straits, The Beatles) on Fridays to Flamenco on Sundays. People start dancing closer to 10pm when they get drunk enough. If I spent enough time digging the archives I think I could find some pics of a younger drunk me taken here at least 10 years back :) Time flies but Shannon doesn't change much. For good. A bit worn interior adds to its charm. Now with live music the bar attracts people from other parts of Torrevieja. A friend told me yesterday he's going to perform here with his band soon, can't wait to see that. Definitely visit if you live close. "Beer! I had the pannbiff with mashed potatoes--the combination of red onion, cucumber, and lingonberries was spot on. My partner had the steak with red wine sauce, and it was equally delicious. You have to try the pecan and apple pies. As an American, I know my pies--and these were incredible! Still warm, and served with vanilla ice cream that melted perfectly over the top. Then there is also a minimum 5 euro drinking. The swimingpool is very dirty and the staff is not really interested in service or anything else for that matter.
