Friends visiting Spain wanted to find a paella place nearby and I brought them here. Thought it would be a great choice for a family visit.
The restaurant looked a bit worn out when I visited last time a couple of years ago, now totally refurbished. Probably more expensive now too. Or maybe it's because there were 9 of us :)
Paellas are served in large pans (we ordered three). The pans were put on a table next to us and then the paellas served to plates. One pan for two is fine if you are hungry. 1/3 a pan was not enough for me this time. One pan is currently 23€. Bottle of red house wine 12€.
The restaurant is located in La Mata town, just 3 minutes walk from the sea. Go for a walk along the beach after your visit and enjoy the weather, day or night.
They close in the winter months I believe. read more
