The guacamole was some of the best I've had anywhere, and the (secret recipe) sesame chips are fabulous. Beware of the sauces they put on the table. Even the mildest one was way beyond what most Gringos can tolerate!
I had a whole crab stuffed with a multitude of plump shrimp bathed in a lovely tomato-based sauce. It was absolutely delicious. It came with the requisite rice and veggies, and a nice little bit of fresh salad. Not knowing how much food was served, I also ordered a gobernador taco, which was loaded with abundant tasty filling. I was too stuffed for desert, but it seems they have a good selection.
Good restaurants -- especially those with outdoor dining -- are hard to find in Tonalá, so keep this place in mind next time you go shopping there.
