The entire hotel is a dead zone for mobile phone service, and if you ask to use the 'free wifi', they'll state it's for guests staying in the rooms only. If you like to gamble, order a drink from the bar!, staff scoop ice out with the glasses your drink is going on to, with no understanding of the chance of the glass chipping, and tearing your insides to shit. When we got to the room, it looked dirty. This was confirmed when we saw the state of the bathroom, like someone had thrown Jif on the shower, a toilet seat that wasn't affixed to the toilet and bare electrical cables in the bathroom. In the bedside draws we found other peoples clothes and a booking slip from September with a previous guests personal details. Clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Where the TV was supposed to be, there was a dirty steak knife and a bunch of screws, along with a variety of dead bugs. The 24 hour secure parking is in fact not fenced, not secure and is covered in signs sayings 'park at your own risk'. Checkout isn't any better, we packed up and went to hand the key back at 830am. Only to discover that no staff are there until 10am. An hour and a half of our time in Sydney spent waiting to hand the key back. Do yourself a favour. Don't stay here. Your car has better amenities, it's cleaner and probably safer too. Save your money and go out for a nice steak dinner.

As you enter the complex you find the travelodge to your right. The front of house staff are welcoming and check in was hassle free. We were given our swipe card and explained where to find our way to the rooms. We were in an executive room so lucky to have free wifi (but if you don't, the club has it too). The amazing glass lift takes you up to your rooms with wonderful views of the surrounding areas, as did our executive suite. The room was spacious, a huge comfortable bed, futon/couch and it was extremely clean and well decorated. There was a kitchenette, microwave and POD coffee machine for the traveller which was convenient. We were also lucky enough to receive complimentary water, chocolate and a hand written card to wish us a wonderful stay. This was a lovely touch. Everything about the experience was great and extremely hospitable. Make sure you book, I understand it gets very busy with customers to the sports club and workers in the area.

From the outside it looks like just your local run-of-the-mill pub. Upstairs was a very different story. Forget drinks in the city where you end up meeting and greeting your entire facebook list, bring a couple hundred of your closest friends and family to this place. The place is so big it can easily hold that many. There's a separate room at the back to keep all your family's embarrassing antics hidden away, a lounging area with a main bar (with access to the pokies room), and a huge dance floor area with room for all your hired DJ equipment. It's all newly renovated and in perfect condition for you and your friends to make as much noise as you want into the early hours of the morning.
