More than four years later, both of our children are now part of the program (Preschool and Infant/Toddler) and love it there! One of the crucial elements we sought when reviewing childcare options was safety - and I appreciate the care and attention implemented to make sure all students are well protected at all times. Our children feel loved for and cared for by the amazing staff! Their school readiness curriculum is wonderful, taking the time to teach students the essential skills to prepare them for Kindergarten - and beyond. Hands-on programs, engaging activities and events bring their curriculum to life - and we look forward to hearing about everything our children did each day! Highly recommend HB!

They taught her how to communicate when she was very young with sign language and now, she is blossoming with her language skills. She was required to wear a helmet at school and was in physical therapy prior to starting Honey Bear. After much collaboration with her physical therapist and teaching staff, Infant and Toddler teachers adapted to her needs and helped her graduate from the helmet and physical therapy. As a staff member who works at Honey Bear, I have not only seen my child grow, but I have seen many other children grow through the love and compassion of qualified teachers and staff, who make us feel like a family.

I say this considering Quality: - of the facility - classroom environment - cameras in every class room - app to get daily reports on your child's activities - the customized daily schedules made for children @ all ages. The director Jess and the finance gal, Christian are prompt, professional, and friendly. The pricing is fair in regard to how expensive daycare is in general. They have an in-house kitchen/dietician/lunch lady and offer hot lunch to babies all the way up to kindergarten age. My daughter has eaten things like Spanish rice and beans and ham, or raviolis, or even chicken sausage and veggies. The snacks are healthy and tasty too. I enjoy that she gets to taste all different types of food. They have fun and educational age appropriate crafts and activities for the kids. The teachers are kind and welcoming. Miss Lasheekah and miss Olivia are my kids favorite teachers. The older children do centers or stations and are always doing something fun or educational. You can talk to staff or pay your tuition all in an app set up with the school. Tuition also covers diapers and milk . They are also allergy friendly. The children get to go outside and play often too. They have their own fenced in backyards with gardens for the kids to work on and learn . All in all, it is a clean, safe, healthy environment for children to learn and play .

Her teachers have always been extremely warm, welcoming, calm and reassuring. My daughter had previously attended a different school and would cry at every drop off and while she cried at first at Nitzan, I always knew she was being well cared for and she quickly became excited about school. She has learned so much while there. The play-based program is ideal for learning and exploring. My daughter is allowed to explore through art, reading, singing, dancing, building, and outdoor play. I love that all her art is 100% her (not a teacher created project)! Yes, this meant when she was 20 months, it was often scribbles on paper but now at 3.5 years old it's amazing to see the transformation. It is great to watch her being nurtured in a way that encourages her develop her own skills and own interests in a natural way. I am impressed at how her exposure to things at school through play has led to retention of so much. In addition and extremely important to me, my daughter, who is a bit more of an observer, has developed friendships and organically has developed her social skills without pressure through the positive, nurturing environment that Nitzan provides. I would highly recommend Nitzan for anyone looking for a warm, positive learning environment for their children!

My family has been very happy with our choice in childcare. The teachers and administrators really care about the kids and provide an environment that is not only safe and warm but creative and challenging. We love the emphasis on fresh, natural foods (all food is provided/included, which is SO convenient) and outdoor play. They also do a very cool "Summer camp" program where the kids have outdoor/water play all morning every day, and the preschool/pre-K kids have several field trips. There are also occasional "bonus" events such as an end-of-summer family party and Christmas-time pajama party for the kids. I will be honest, it's not cheap, but as with all things you get what you pay for!

Good evening, I am writing as a deeply angry and disgusted…read moreparent. Today, when I picked up my son Leonardo, I was informed he had SLEPT ON THE COLD TILE FLOOR because he was "hot." That explanation alone is UNACCEPTABLE, but it gets worse. He was WET when I picked him up this afternoon--his hair, his pants, his coat--completely soaked. And when I asked why, not a single staff member could give me an answer. "I don't know" is NOT an acceptable response when a child is returned to their parent in that condition. The lack of accountability, the carelessness, and the indifference are beyond disappointing--they are DISGUSTING. As someone with experience working in multiple daycares and schools, I know that if a 3-year-old refuses to sleep on a cot, you don't allow them to lay on a cold, dirty floor like an animal. You comfort them, you redirect them, and you provide care. The fact that this didn't happen is a complete failure on your part. Even a dog gets a bed. My son deserved far better than this. And yes, I will say it--had Leonardo not been a young Black boy, I believe this situation may have been handled with more compassion and urgency. He was neglected. There's no other word for it. Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you found out your child took a nap on the cold floor? Or picking him up wet and not exactly given an actual clear explanation ? If he was uncomfortable, if he was upset, if something happened--WHY wasn't I called? As his mother, I should have been informed immediately. Instead, he was left in that condition, and no one took responsibility. This is not just poor care. This is unacceptable. This is disgusting. This is neglect. Leonardo will NOT be returning to your center. I will also be reporting this incident to corporate and taking further steps as necessary. I expect a written explanation, not excuses. Do better!!!!! This is my review and what happened to my child

They're still employed after physically harming children. Do not enroll your child. The care my child while enrolled in the twos classroom has been unacceptable. As an educator, your job is to teach, manage emotions, redirect, and provide language to those who do not have it. My child was dealt with aggression by his teachers in the twos classroom. They belittle, mishandle and sometimes ignore the children. I saw on live video, One of the teachers blocked her face with her hand, while a child was crying in front of her. I understand challenging behaviors can be frustrating but it's never your job to apply force to anyone's kid. If your goal isn't to make a difference in the early stages of development, then this is not the place for you and you should not be working with kids of any age group. There are teachers who witness this treatment and do not speak up. The twos classroom consists of Andreana Stevenson, Angelique Clark and Jasmin Cardona. Sometimes Chantal is in these classrooms and she also should not be around children, she has fallen asleep while on the clock. The cameras aren't monitored enough by management, they do not pop into classes enough.
