When I first went…read moreI had I had seen Dr. Andrew Seevaratnam and if I request Dr Andrew I may see him or I can gladly see his nurse Lori Muder APRN who is quite knowledgeab. The last two times this is who I did see and I have been very happy with my care. The front desk is kind, helpful and courteous when you call or when you walk in and check out is simply amazing and very helpful as well. The staff has been very thoughtful in helping me with coordinate how I can receive my Cpap sup and supplies and Lori had offered and supplied me with a new mask to try when she heard that I tried two different kinds that were given me some difficulties. She had also placed an ongoing order for new supplies which I was pleasantly surprised to find out about when I had come home. This office is very thorough and thoughtful with their patient care. Wheelchair accessible! Literally no one answers phones. When you leave a message no one returns s calls. It took me a month to find reach some one. They tell you they switched phone service. They have been telling me that for a year. We made a apt for my husbund. My husbund spoke to someone and they told him to go to the Ocala location. We tried to ca the. Prior to apt to make sure they received his tray before driving a hour and half. Again no a answer no return call. We We got there , their were patients asking for their medical records a d walking out a other patie t was irritate and yelling because they canceled his apt again for no reason. We were told we sent to wrong g location and the text message we received was wrong This is the most unprofessional medicle facility I have ever encountered. We will be looking for a new Pulmonary. I can't imagine if this is how the front office is handled how your provider will be. From what we experienced and saw other patients frustration we are not comfortable with continuing with them.​

    I was supposed to have a pulmonary function test done today. Upon waking up this morning, I was…read morecalled by the front office secretary, asking to move my appointment from 1 PM to as early as I could get there. Mind you, I live one hour away. I couldn't quickly get up and go, I had things to take care of, especially since I was prepared to have a few more hours before leaving. I ended up telling them that I could come in an hour and a half early, and despite this, when I got there, they still hadn't called my insurance to verify that I could get this test done. They had tried to tell me that it was my responsibility to call my insurance and get approved for the test, when this should be the billing and insurance department's responsibility. I decided to call the insurance anyway, and the woman on the phone told me "they need to call us". So I went back in, and told them what the woman on the phone said. I waited in the office, after driving for an hour, for another hour, just to be told that she couldn't get a hold of the insurance, and that she would have to reschedule me. This should've been something that was done well before my visit. i've never had to call the insurance myself, and ask for a test to be approved. That is the doctors office's responsibility. The entire office just felt unorganized, and unprofessional. I do feel a little bad for the woman in the front, because it seems to also be understaffed. There should at least be one more person behind the counter with her, to deal with the brunt of all the patients and the billing and the insurance. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't recommend this practice solely for the disorganization, and inconvenience. 2 week later update: after dealing with this office and just trying to get a PFT done, i called a different doctor on the same day, got an appointment, and on the same appointment they did my PFT and everything has been good since. I don't recommend this practice at all.
