The rooms here are nice, the location good, but for me, those were overshadowed. We stayed here in March, shortly after it had opened and they were still working out the kinks. I was prepared for a few glitches, but their lack of communication and willingness to get stuff fixed made those glitches worse.
For instance, the air conditioning didn't work in my room. I called down to the front desk and they said they would send someone up. An hour later, no one had shown up. I called again. Nothing. Half an hour later I called again. They refused to move me, even though they had empty rooms. Half an hour later (now two hours and counting), I went down to the front desk and would not leave until they either moved me or sent someone back up with me. I was ticked off because I had spent two hours in a 90 degree room with no AC waiting for someone who never came and still they refused to move me. They tried to get me to go sit in the lobby and wait, they tried to tell me I needed to be patient. They had used my patience up and I was in full on Karen mode. When it hit two and a half hours with no resolution, I refused to step away from the front desk. They finally decide they could move me to another room. If this was the only glitch, it would be one thing, but there were 5 other glitches including issues each morning in the breakfast, problems in the bar, problems with the exercise equipment and a billing issue. read more
