    Pet Wants - Green Bay

I cannot say enough good things about Pet Wants Green Bay. Last fall we met Pat at the farmer…read moremarket, he was so full of information and willing to talk with us. Our dog Larry is a large Weimaraner/Mastiff with a silver coat. Since I have adopted him he has had skin issues. From 6 months old I was treating him with a skin infection, he was red and full of rash on his underbelly, months I did antibiotics and it still continued. I then switched his food to a well known brand from a local store. We saw improvement but really the hair on his back side never grew back and he would have flare ups all the time of rash and itching. Then we did rounds of weekly medicated baths, it really helped but it was a huge pain. Last fall we finally switched his food to the whitefish & duck from Pet Wants. Since then we have also got him allergy tested from our vet and found out he is allergic to grass . Since last fall we have been religious with giving him his meds (Benadryl & melatonin) morning and night along with his new food. He finally has fur!!!!!!! Along with no rashes, no more infections under his legs, and his fur is shiny and I haven't even given him a bath in a long time. It is such a relief as a person who has dealt with this for almost 5 years to finally see something help! He never has any issues transitioning to the food, I mean he's a 130lb big boy who loves food I wasn't worried about that. But Pat was great about giving us samples to test him with it to see how he did. Since Larry has been on his new food he is consuming less food then he had on past foods. The biggest thing for me with our experience with Pet Wants Green Bay is their customer service. Pat is wonderful to work with! He delivers the dog food right out our house, every batch of dog food has a hand written letter in it. Today we were leaving town for Memorial Day and I forgot to place my order this week so I placed my order this morning and within minutes I got a text that he would have it there by noon! It's not only good food but wonderful service! I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a good brand dog food for their pets!

We were in an exam room by 9am. Dr Mark was kind and knowledgeable. He did an exam and did not order any expensive or unnecessary testing. The best part is he did the exam in the room and the dog did not have to be taken away from us in a back room. Both my dog and I dislike that very much. It was a relief to be there for the exam. We got a prescription and we were out of there by 9:30. My baby is already feeling better. I would definitely take him back to this vet clinic. If you're trying to get an emergency appointment, call as soon as they open because spots fill up fast.

Waited outside due to the doors being locked for 4 hours. No one answered the phones, and we could not get any answers. When we brought the dog back for the follow up, we had the sutures removed, had the rabies, Lyme vaccination, and DAPP Booster shots, and were sold the flea and tick medication. When we got home, I was informed that we had already purchased the flea and tick medication a month ago. I called to see about bringing the medication back that was still in the bag, and with the receipt that was about an hour old. I was told that I would be refunded the money to the card. When I arrived the lady, that I won't mention by name, informed me that I could only have a store credit. We live about 25 miles away and would like to go to a closer vet for routine visits. The in- store credit was a retention tool to force us to come back to them only. I decided that I would rather donate the medication to a friend or someone that needs it rather than be lied to and forced to go to a business that won't honor what they said they would do. You can sheer a sheep for life, or you can skin them once. This proverb fits Wolf River Veterinary Clinic perfectly! We spent thousands and were denied a refund on a product that was bought an hour ago. Do your research and have another Vet on standby!.

He kept the dog in cages and they would occasionally get to run on feces covered gravel. Ever see a King Charles Cavalier with a eye rotted out? Yep that's Leroy Fhlug. He kept the puppies in a concrete bunker with air conditioning. When he collected to many old dogs who ate into his profits he suddenly had a FIRE and they all died. Hmmm.... a fire? In a concrete structure? Then overwhelmed by grief he bought all new dogs and started breeding en mass. My first question... Were gasoline barrels kept next to he building with candles on top? My second question... Did INSURANCE pay a claim for these withered animals that suffered neglect and had horrible living conditions? Fill in there blanks Arso#? Insurance Fr@ud? However, when we asked to see his parents, Leroy was very shifty and discouraging us. Then he reluctantly grabbed the mom from a dark room and shoved her in the cage with her puppies. You can clearly tell she was not taken care of at all!! She looked malnourished, matted, and abused. By this time, my kids fell in love with the puppy and we bought him. But this decision haunts me... I wish we just walked away. I can't get this image of the poor mom and how she looked out of my mind. From my experience, I don't believe LeRoy is a caring breeder.. his focus seems to be about profits. In retrospect, I wish we never set foot in his place.
