We had used CVS Pharmacy in general for many years, and this particular branch for several of those…read moreyears after we moved to this area. Our health insurance company has contracted with Walgreens and we are forced to use them now, so I am leaving this review as a farewell present for CVS. The CVS rewards program is pretty good, more rewarding than the current one we have at Walgreens. We also like that CVS stopped selling cigarettes, a bold move, here in the heavy smoking south, at least. I always tried to arrange to make right turns in and out of the parking lot at the busiest times of day at this branch, because it got so busy at rush hour, plus there always seemed to be just one cashier, even though there was a second register there. If a second person was helping, they only waited on the drive through customers, which I suppose is a good thing to help reduce the idling air pollution out there. They could have been open a little bit later, but I guess their hours were standard pharmacy hours.

He's lost complete height in it. In unimaginable pain. He was finally able to get into see pain management this week. The doctor ordered a prescription for him and the pharmacist deleted it. When my husband called to inquire about it he was incredibly rude. Said he needed to speak with the doctor regarding a reason. Why? Even if that's the case, there is absolutely no reason to be rude to your customers who, if they are being prescribed pain medication are already struggling in life. If you hate your job this much, QUIT! I would greatly appreciate someone making contact with us so we can discuss this further. I am heartbroken that my husband has to endure this condition for the rest of his life and I am absolutely appalled at how he has been treated through this whole process. Edit.....I have done as requested and called "customer care" with my complaint. I felt, unheard. Definitely didn't hear any typing of notes. Said she would "pass" it along. And "I may or may not hear back further". What is the whole point of taking time out of our days to make a complaint when clearly no one cares? I would be ashamed to represent this company. Maybe that's the problem...But this pharmacist has years of complaints. And still you allow him to demean your customers. I have never said this before about anyone, but this man should have been fired a long time ago.

I've never had to wait long to be rung out and I can get my receipts electronically. Walgreens is really holding out on the self-checkouts front, but the staff here are friendly. I haven't had use for pharmacy, but, again, no issues here. I can't speak to a price comparison with a nearby competitor, but I do get more and better store coupons elsewhere. Walgreens does, however, discount a myriad of items in their stores so it's worth browsing through the aisles to see what you can find.
