He was suspended mutiple times due to being bullied and him getting upset. This school staff would lose my son and call me to come find him on campus. Also, sent him to mental hospital without notifying his parents then told me they didnt know where he had gone. And couldnt explain his whereabouts. They let other kids bully him who were white but refused to disapline the children. This school is full of gangs and the staff refuse to look at evidence when presented to them. I spent everyday going back and forth to the school mulitple times to get my son on track because the school doesnt have sufficent supervision for the children. I have heard from several of the students about sexual activity that happens on campus in the garden area where students can go because they know there are not enough supervision on campus. I have had students try to sell my son drugs on campus and seen students vaping in front of the school. I tried several times to remove my student from the school only to be told they would try harder. Finally i just put him in homestudies to avoid the stress of having to school my son at the school because the teachers do not emply any type of discipline!!!!

I have always had close connections with my teachers over the years and was always approached with kindness and care. This school is like no other which is what makes it so special. I was originally held back in second grade and this school helped me get back to where I needed to be and actually be ahead. They really do care and want you to succeed and will find so many different ways to make sure that you do succeed and are happy. This school has provided me with life long friendships and still to this day I talk to multiple teachers who I've had and have impacted me greatly and will always consider them family. You get to experience so many different and amazing things compared to other schools and the conquest program really is such a game changer. I was there when they changed to the conquest program and almost immediately my grades were improving and I was actually retaining the information we were learning. This school is great especially if your kids need a little more attention/help because of the small classes everyone gets 1:1 time with a teacher if needed. Our kids actually get sad when they have to miss school for whatever reason. They love their teachers, and the teachers clearly care about their students. They could be teaching for teachers' unions in public schools, earning more money, but they choose our school because they care intensely about our kids and our families holistically: Intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually. I've trusted all my many kids with many normal kid-play injuries over MANY years to the wonderful women in the office, both the office manager and office assistant. They call me right away, disclose all the details of the injury, tell me how they treated them (with a lot of medical experience, I assure you they do everything I would have EVERY time), offer to talk to my child and of course allow me to pick them up if I ever deem it necessary. The teachers and administration answer every email and Class Dojo message I've ever sent, no matter how small the topic, within a very short time. Whenever I've approached the principal with a question or concern, she welcomes it with humility and openness, and actually makes changes worth making (this is notably not the case with many school principals). She surrounds herself with committees to make sure she's not missing anything. Between our excellent principal, our wonderful office manager, and our warm office assistant, the ambience in the office is pleasant and welcoming. As a parent, I don't want to leave when I stop in! The school community has really wonderful families we've befriended over the years or worked with on school volunteer opportunities. But for us, the most important aspect is the faith aspect. Our kids get to learn about the Catholic Faith through a beautiful and formational religion program; and they get to see it reflected in the faculty and administration in various ways, through their unique gifts, virtues, and sacrifices. I would highly recommend Young World of Learning, the children are well cared for, they are motivated and entertained. The pre-school program followed the Napa Valley Unified district program.
