We stored our camper here for 2 weeks but after visiting it a few times, decided to remove our camper. This is not a secure storage facility!! Every since we had our camper there, the gate has been knocked off and we saw 3 different homeless people in there roaming around. We will NOT be back! read more

I had no problems with this storage unit. I left Kansas to go to Ohio and came back to shut it down after 8 months, everything was in tact and nothing was messed with or missing. The location was very clean, the area was very secure and the staff was extremely friendly. If I'm in the area again I would go with them again. read more

My spaces were very dirty upon renting. I signed a contract for 79 monthly rent on one unit. With 30 days being required to make changes. I have never been charged that always and additional 35 more. Was charged a late fee when I made the payment prior to the date late charges are assessed. They tell you insurance is mandatory but if you reas your contract...that isn't true at all. I don't like being lied to. I don't like being taken for money I don't owe. And I don't like being expected to leave a space in a better condition than I received it in. I have street view. Its the only positive at this point. The insides of the units have shifted enough that you can see into the units around you. There is storage left happening at a crazy high right now and a good portion of those break ins happen from INSIDE ONE UNIT AND MANIPULATING ACCESS INTO AN AJOINING. It not safe to store. Anywhere but especially when they cab just take a peep right inside your closes unit. I'm super annoyed and very underwhelmed by this go round with what used to be the only place and facility I'd rent with. read more

I have been using Public Storage for over three years and have been happy with the customer service and every other aspect of the business except the significant rent increases every year. I spoke to Brad and he said he was going to work on getting my rent lowered for me. I really appreciated the offer, and he really came through for me! Public storage provides a secure, clean and well-lit facility with excellent prices. We priced several different storage companies but chose Public Storage because they offer the same and more without the extra cost. The manager is on-duty during business hours and it is well-lit and secure during all hours. The storage unit doors have a tumbler system that you purchase with your lease agreement and it is more secure and less accessible than a padlock, which can be easily broke open with a hammer or a pair of bolt cutters. And having keypad activated gates at both the entrance and the exit, which is more secure considering some of the other storage companies we toured had motion-activated exit gates. read more

The storage facility is located in a below average area. Initially, I was being charged $70.00/month but rates have increased to $81/month and now that flood insurance is available (which I was told any damage would be covered), I have to pay $11/month for that instead of $8/month. The rate started from $70/month to $92/month with insurance. The other negative about this location is the hours. I would prefer 24 hour access but 0500-2100 will suffice. On a positive note, the front desk staff is courtesy and was very helpful during my initial move in. read more

Well this is the second time i've had an issue with public storage. Earlier this month my checking account was compromised and my bank closed my account due to transactions happening from outside the country that did not belong to me. Because public storage took their time processing my online payment, the account was closed and the check was returned. We spoke to the front desk clerk at the storage location, and she advised that she couldnt help us and we would be required to pay a late fee as well as a returned check fee. She told us we could call the district manager and see if he would be willing to help us out. I attempted to call John (the district Manager) on 3-11-14 and was met with no answer. His voicemail, however, told me that he checks his messages twice a day and he would get back to me as soon as possible. It is now 3-13-14 and i have yet to receive a call back. I tried to call him again this morning at 9 am CST (Normal business hours) and once again received his voicemail. I am already out the money that was taken from my account fraudulently, and trying to work with the bank to get it back, but public storage wants to screw me for more money. I'm not rich and don't have money to waste, but public storage doesn't want to work with me. I've already paid the money that was due for coverage this month but will not pay the fees they added to it. If you have other options for storage, its worth looking into. Public storage doesn't seem to care about the little guy. read more
