Public Storage March 21, 2026 This was a mixed experience. We arrived from Texas and found no one in the office, which was frustrating. When we called, the representative we spoke with was not local and was difficult to understand, which didn't help the situation. After waiting for some time, the property manager arrived and was very kind, courteous, and helpful. That interaction made a noticeable difference and improved the experience. However, once we accessed our unit, the lights did not come on, which made it difficult to see while unloading. There were some positives, but also some issues that need attention, particularly with staffing presence and maintenance. Value is meh!! read more

This review is as of Feb. 2025 - Our family needed to store some Estate items temporarily and Kirk at Public storage was a life saver! I would definitely use again if circumstance warranted. read more

This is the greediest company I've ever seen. They increase your rent multiple times (in a short amount of time) without notice. I will be removing my stuff and will never use public again. They should be investigated what a joke of a company. read more

Sweet sweet manager always has time for my questions. I appreciate being able to trust my belongings in a storage unit at this location. 10/10 will recommend to others read more

Just moved from another stores facility up the street that has raise my rent two times in the last year to double the price that I started with last September. I know not having a lease leaves you subject to this type of price increases because most people are not going to go rent a U-Haul and move their stuff but I'm not most people. Found the two spaces that fit my needs online, booked everything without having to speak to anyone. Received a call from the manager letting me know that I will be getting my gate access code by the morning of my start date which I did. Was able to key right in get to my two storage facility spaces that were very close to each other and everything so far has been a go. Unfortunately we all have more junk than we really need and storage places like this are needed. I found the manager to be friendly. So far so good. I will update if I run into any issues. I like giving a shout out when there's good service and very detailed reviews when it is not. read more

This is a very clean and well organized environment. Kirk the site manager is very responsive and was helpful with getting me settled in with my storage unit. I would have no problem recommending this Public Storage business and Management Kirk. read more

I called and gave 4 days notice of moving out the end of June. I was still charged for July. A friend told me I should've done it online. I didn't know that was an option. It would've been nice if the lady I spoke with would've said that. So I created an account online and sure enough, it was still active. That's pretty shady. read more

The manager is friendly, warm and welcoming. This was my experience during my time handling my business at this business.

Amazingly easy to rent unit. Got a phone call immediately but wasn't necessary as I could do everything online. Got my unit and access codes before I needed them. Unit was clean and directions to the exact unit were provided. Would use them again. read more

Raised my rent without explanation. Customer service for the company and this location are impossible to reach. It's just a big phone system loop that no one ever answers. Rental price has gone up without any notice and location makes you carry insurance starting at $11 extra a month. Location has been great except for the steady rise in price without ability to speak to anyone about payment increase. read more

Bad first impression. This facility was bought from another owner where I rented a unit. I received a letter informing me to come to their office to fill all new paperwork which they could have sent with the letter for me to fill and bring with me. I asked about whether my payment will still be drafted and they said yes But it really didn't and they want me to go back and re do the credit card because I can't do it over the phone. I would rather have had a smoother transition and I am sure I'm not the only upset customer from the comments made during my long wait in line. read more

Do not lease from this place!! The manager is rude and moody - to me and others. Their gate was broken and I tried to finish moving out on 10/31 at 6:05 pm. I had been moving out during the day. But a few items were left -?because they didn't even have a notice posted about the gate not working. For this reason I couldn't complete my moving out. So they charged me for another month. This place is out to get every last penny of yours. Read other reviews - I am not the only one. STEER CLEAR!!! read more

Broken Promises, Higher rent, Lots of corporate rules! Stay away! I started renting from Switzer, solely because they included free use of a move in/move out truck. Public Storage came in, sent me a 5 page letter and then called me because I did not pay...No one anywhere said what I needed to do, they just call you with a robo-dialer saying there is an "URGENT" matter. TERRIBLE HANDLING of the change-over. Fast forward nine months and they raise the rent ten (10) percent. They send it after the first of the month, so you are forced to pay the higher rate. There are much better LOCAL choices to rent from. Their employees only last a little bit, so you will never talk to the same person twice. BEWARE! read more

Excellent experience for a first-time storage usage. Very, very clean facility, extremely nice employees. . . made the process a breeze. Beverly gave me the information over the phone the day before my reservation. The next day, move-in was quick and easy thanks to Aaron. He was patient, kind, thorough, and even insisted on helping me carry a load of items out to my car. . . that is service. The only thing I would recommend is: try harder to find out the hidden costs better than I did. (And I asked more than once if there were other costs that I wasn't being informed of!) I was a bit miffed about paying more than I had originally been led to believe I was going to pay. However, I realize this is the case with EVERY storage choice in town. No matter what you are probably told on the phone, realize you will be charged more, and that's a fact. I am still very pleased with this location. Thank you Aaron and Beverly. read more

PLEASE DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE. Public storage is a racket. They entice you to rent units for a nominal rental and then keep increasing the price. The management is deplorable and useless. I would recommend that you utilize a more business friendly provider. Customer service is not their priority. I had the opportunity to rent a unit and complete the contract and they accepted the payment. When my moving company arrived the idiot who rented me the unit came to the conclusion that I did not meet the criteria for the discounted rate and denied me access to the unit he rented to me. I paid for 2 months in advance. I had a large moving van that was to unload for a 10x20 unit. The final outcome was that the idiot Aaron rented me a unit that was not the 10x20 and he was denying access to me to cover his error. He even went so far as to cancel and destroy my contract. read more

Terrible customer service. I rented a climate control unit, and when I moved in the climate control wasn't working. The manager, Aaron, told me that he would put in a work order but that's all he could do. He was extremely hostile and rude, and acted like I was a major hassle for him telling him it wasn't working. I had movers there with a piano, and he told me that I could just move that in next week- he didn't offer apologies or another unit- just too bad lady. I have never been treated so hostile by anyone ever, and I asked him why he was being so hostile to me, and he asked why I was still there. I then said he needed to work on his customer service skills, and he told me I need to work on my "customer skills"- whatever that means. If I didn't have a truck half unloaded with movers that were working by the hour, I would have left immediately. Do NOT rent here. At all costs- go elsewhere. read more

I started renting here when it was Switzer's Locker, and things got worse once Public Storage bought it out. They have an irritating policy now where you will only be prorated for the month you move out if you can get it done by the 6th of the month. After I checked out, the person at the front desk called me back because my information wasn't updated correctly in their files. I couldn't tell that person my address over the phone or change it online; I actually had to drive right back to the office and hand write it myself. I had to pay my last month in full and was told I would receive a rebate check in the mail as I had moved out before the 6th. When the check did not arrive, I called and was told that the rebate process doesn't even start until I call and request it. The person on the phone then proceeded to schedule the payment to be sent to my address lacking a house number. How that was supposed to work is beyond me. My stored items were not damaged, but the staff here only seems to be competent in taking your money. read more
