I will never use another storage ... Public Storage on Delaware St in Beaumont, Texas... is the Best. Their on-site manager/sales person is amazing. Vincent was knowledgeabl, helpful and had the best personaliTy ... he is an asset to your company!!! read more

Where do I begin? Ok! So I have been storing my items here for some years as I currently reside out of the state. I been with them since when they were CubeSmart. Ok so I have seen the hands of management change a time or few. The experiences have been very awesome though. The people that are currently working Jeff and Vincent are some of the most understanding and REALIST people I have interacted with. They know what it is like to try to do what you can in a struggling economy. They are NOT judgmental, they are NOT condescending, and they are KIND, SINCERE AND did I mention kind? They are personable and really work for their people. I am appreciative to have stored my items there and hoping to get that stuff out as it has been too many years. The only negative comment I have DOES NOT APPLY to the staff but to the greedy azz corp. The rental increases is ridiculous. This ain't rent. It is a storage unit. Like really. read more

The Public storage by the mall in Beaumont Tx, is a great facility. It's clean and well kept and the young lady with the colorful hair is the best. Her personality matches her hair. I would recommend this facility to anyone I come in contact with. Keep up the good work. read more

The price increases are both too frequent and much too high. Have used a few storage locations in the past and none have been this bad.

Since June of 2020 this place has increased their prices 3 times. My $145.00 mtly unit increased to $165.00 6mths later and shortly after that cube smart was bought out by public storage. They no longer provided insurance so after purchasing insurance my unit went from 165.00 to $180.00 in the 4th quarter of 2021. Today I get a increase letter for March 2022. This time it's a $61.00 increase bring the same unit to $241.00. This is highway robbery! read more

History

Established in 1972.

The first Public Storage building opened in El Cajon California, but the new business was only supposed to be temporary. Two partners pioneered the concept as a way to use their real estate investment while they waited for the Southern California community to take off and value of their land to grow. They kept building, and people continued to fill their units. Eventually the pair realized that self-storage was here to stay, and they never looked back. Today, there are thousands of neighborhood Public Storage locations to choose from, many right around the corner from you.
