That in itself was a surprise. She has a calming demeanor and a way about her that is difficult to explain. Just talking to her and listening to some of the things she had to say was helpful and help me organize my mind from the frenzy. I was skeptical at first, but like another poster mentioned. She is the real deal. I just recently gifted my daughter a session, she is going through it right now and her experience was also very positive and left more hopeful. She has some kind energy about her that rubs off on you and stays with you for a while.

The Sword and Rose in Cole Valley is a quintessential San Francisco Occult Shop founded by beloved…read moreRandy in 1986, and continues to be a shoppe and community space (rather than a commercial store) run by dedicated witches, clairvoyants, priestesses and practitioners. From beginning to end of my experience, I knew I would be returning. There's a moment of "where is it, did I miss it," but as you approach the stuccoed arch, you see the weathered wooden sign and know you've found it. Past the shared hallway, when you enter that grey gardens-edward gorey-esque courtyard, you come upon a cottage you don't expect to be there. Once inside the threshold, you know you've entered a place where witches and real cobwebs are. I don't want to spoil too much, this is truly a place for the senses and open-hearted to experience. I'll say I met Krystl, who's been there for 22 years, and received a sliding scale Motherpeace Tarot reading with recommended housemade incense and left with a few Magick and Tarot zines from Teena and Sean. We also talked about some interesting topics, I didn't want to leave, and i'm an introvert! I brought the incense home, i've never smelled such incredible high-quality and intentional incense from any current SF shop. And with my teacher/artist in SF budget, I still was able to leave with many treasures (though I wish I could've grabbed one of their excellent condition vintage tarot decks). Cash for tarot readings, card is fine for shop purchases. Turn your phone off, get present, support these places before private equity gets em.

I had such a great time yesterday. I like living in San Francisco not just for the micro climate…read morebut also because a few blocks down the street is like me going into a different village/township from the boring suburbia. Hayes/Hayes Valley just has just my favorite gypsy vibe. And Sword & Roses is just a historical representation of this 60s/70s SF lifestyle. I had a much needed concern coupled with recent tragic fire in HK (where my parents are. They don't live in the incident apt complex but still dark mood all over b/c of the bad news) that need addressing and spending a few hours at the shoppe just rejuvenated me. Yes, this is not a shoppe where you browse quick and rush out, I would avoid that if that is your plan cos you could meddle up the peace and flow of things there, j/k. Everywhere you turn, you will find gems literally in the shoppe. I couldn't take pics of the shine to show you out of respect but the place is always warm because shoppe owner heats up the chimney with more wood. This is a tiny little space but you could spend hours or up browsing through every inch and many actually do, taking their time when time in SF is worth a lot. I love the garden, the customers and the ladies who upkeep the shoppe. You will not come in and find this place boring! There is always conversations about meaning of life, spirituality, animal guides, tarot cards, astrology and palm readings. Someone will be searching through books to find their childhood treasure again or getting recycled leather bound journals for their out of town friends as a keepsake. Possibilities are endless, as endless as your openness to alternative healing and spiritual solutions. I brought some incense too (not in the pic) but it has the most gorgeous and tranquil blue that even not burning them (putting out in display immensely) enhance my spirit, my mood and my well being. I got instructions about what to do with the ashes too. Many came from out of town or just across the bay! I recommend stopping by to say "hi" to the friendly ladies or the shoppe owner, they are always up for a good chat and just so open and welcoming, I bet they get asked all sort of life questions so you won't shock them with your challenge. Bottom line, this is a cute, lovely, back shoppe filled with loads of SF histories, good times bad times, and foot prints of some unique souls, some beautiful, some odd and some stranger than old wives' tales. P.S. I will update my reading as time passes with realization of actual events. But maybe I will not, let the bygones be the bygones! Will see.

This review is long overdue…read more About a year ago, I booked a reading with Jasmine because I felt completely stuck and directionless in several areas of my life. During my session, she helped me recognize emotional and energetic blockages that I had been carrying for a long time. That experience led me to trust her healing process, and it became clear that I needed to heal not only from my past but also from stagnant energy that had been holding me back. Choosing to go through that healing journey with Jasmine has been one of the best decisions I've made. Since then, I've experienced incredible growth and positive transformations, especially in my career, my love life, and the way I communicate with others. I've also noticed healthier patterns emerging throughout my life that I never thought were possible. I'm so grateful our paths crossed. Jasmine created a safe, supportive, and judgment free space where I felt comfortable doing the work I needed to do. All I had to do was trust the process, and I'm so glad I did. For my readings, I would say she talked and told anecdotes about her own life after I'd answer one of her rare questions. I'd say it was about 70/30 just her talking at me. After assessing that I don't do well with negative energy and I've held onto a lot of negativity over the years she barked at me "so what happened to you???". She encouraged me to try to cozy up to SF billionaires and millionaires and be a private in home nurse despite me saying I was not interested. She told me that I have gained some weight (I am 17% body fat, very fit and healthy). She told my friend she needed to "tighten and trim up to find a man" when my friend went in the room asking about her career (also very healthy weight). The experience was very odd and she was definitely grasping at straws to pull things together to say. The last thing she threw at me was "oh! You have a toothache. It's new... or it's been on and off. Get that fixed... and it's on the right side." I just said "ok!" As my right cheek was resting in my right hand Don't waste your money. If you want a silly story, don't do more than the palm reading for 10$. No need to spend anything else on the more in depth "readings".

Jessica Boyer has changed my life in ways I could never have expected. This all started a little…read moreover four years when I had a personal reading from Jessica. During the session I connected with both my mother and father who had passed and questions about so many things were completely answered. I felt like I finally understood my family history and how it has impacted my life and a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. The personality of my loved ones totally came through and the number of specific details that no one could possibly know, confirmed for me that the experience was real in every way. Flash forward to this year. I looked up Jessica's website to see if she was still around but found that she was no longer doing personal readings but instead teaching workshops- Embracing your Intuition. Not exactly knowing what that meant, I contacted her and was able to jump into a group that had just started. The Embracing Intuition workshops are incredibly intense yet comforting and therapeutic at the same time. After doing guided exercises in tapping into your psychic intuitive abilities, you are asked to jump right in and read for others in the group. Jessica holds the space in such a loving and open way that you feel safe and accepted at all times. Jessica models vulnerability and love the entire time and shares her own intuitive hits alongside your fellow participants. Honestly, tapping into my intuitive sense was scary, exhilarating, and mind blowing. I was able to know things about other people in the group that I never knew possible and the other participants were able to tell me things that were also impossible for them to know. Most importantly, I learned how to contact my own spirit guides and develop and personal relationship with them, which I have continued to do well after the workshops were over. If you are ready to tap into your intuitive self and develop a relationship with beings on a higher dimensional level, consider taking a workshop with Jessica. It will change you in deep ways and show you more than just how to read intuitively for others, it will teach you to trust yourself- one of the hardest things to do in life.

Not only did Bella bring so much energy and information instantly to the reading (with very little information from me), all the lives she tapped into made so much sense for me in many ways. I love how she taps into the past lives herself, taking the pressure off you, allowing you to retain a sense of control and ability to ask questions and take notes throughout. Even after all that, the most worthwhile takeaway for me was the energy clearing she provided at the end for my energy centers affected by all the past lives. It was super quick at the end and affected me in big positive ways that I (and my husband) noticed almost immediately. And I'm still receiving imagery from my dreams reflecting these lasting changes in my subconscious. Truly amazed. Highly recommend!
