Robert is awesome. His readings are thorough and he takes his time with each of his clients. I've visited him several times over the years, and he is the only person I'd return back to. While other comments mention that he is abrasive or aggressive, he has been nothing but kind and respectful to my friends and I. If you impolitely walk in while he's reading someone else, he may bark at you (and rightfully so). No, he is not a warm and fuzzy hippie type. If you want that kind of dog and pony show, look elsewhere. But if you can wait patiently for your turn or catch him when it's not too busy, a reading with him is worth your while. I believe he may take appointments as well if you call? He's got a line out the door on sunny weekend days, so do not come expecting to be seen immediately. I've been a skeptic. Male psychic was incredibly rude to my sister who was truly excited and willing to patiently wait as long as needed to get a reading. After she checked in to see if he was available, he told her to come back in 20 min. OK, no prob, so she checked in again after 20 - he asked her to wait outside - she did for another 20-30. She very politely checked back in as he was finishing up with the people before her to make sure he knew she was still there and was told it wasn't going to happen now because she asked three times. Absolutely the worst experience ever. If I could give 0 stars review, I would have. My husband and I booked a session 4 months in advance hoping to connect to our loved ones that have now past. On the day of the session, I received an angry email noting that I did not read the policy about having only one person attend the session. I was originally planning to have my husband join me, but I understand that it was their policy. I apologized immediately and said I will be the only one attending the session to make amends. But to my disbelief I received another scalding email noting I disrespected their boundaries about their policy and they will not be disrespected. At this point, my husband and I didn't want to deal with their rude behavior and canceled the appointment. Please do not book with Edith. Save your money and book with someone who can be professional and cares about you. Beware of their cancellation policy too. They will not refund any of your money. read more

Very accurate readings. I went to him over 5 years ago and things that were uncovered then have actually happened throughout the years. He has a true gift. Nothing bad has come from knowing this information but a sense of peace that our life is on the path it's suppose to take. I have recommended him to others that are open to receive such information, and they have gotten very accurate readings. I don't walk away remembering all the information that he gave me but I do recall the bits of information when things happen in my life that were told during the reading, it has taken months to years for some. I'm not sure if this is how it's suppose to work, but it's how it has worked for me. I will continue to go back to him when I feel a need for a reading. I cannot agree at all with the negative reviews, he has a true gift, and he takes his business seriously as this was a gift his mother and him both share. He is not a fraud by any means. My fiancee and mother go in today. First thing he says to my fiancee, about my asian mother. "I hope she speaks english" Let me correct this. Robert says "She better speak English." Mind you, my mother has been in this country for over 40 years and speaks perfect English, not that that's anyone else's business. I went here yesterday with a friend just "for fun" and was amazed at the accuracy and also the inspiration that I got from my palm reading. They gentleman who does the readings has a very soothing, deep voice -- but he speaks very quickly and delivers a lot of good insights in a short span of time -- and so you have to be ready to pay attention so that you don't miss anything important! For about $25, using my credit card (always a plus!) I received a 10 minute reading that covered everything in my life from family, career, love, health, etc. From reading my palm, he knew things about me that were astounding. I was very impressed and would recommend highly to anyone for entertainment or for deeper, spiritual guidance. I believe the psychic is son of Edith. We saw this psychic years ago, but still the best I've ever seen. If you have something worth hearing he will tell you. He told some very specific things. To my daughter: You will be leaving your boyfriend of 7 years. He is cheating on you. (She argued with the psychic! "Oh, no. He's just aloof." 6 months later she moved out for other reasons and did we ever appreciate the heads up.) Weird thing is, that afterwards my daughter didn't remember ANY of that conversation. Thank goodness I took notes. Suggestion: Have a friend take notes. BTW, there was NO WAY he could have known she was with the boyfriend for 7 years. I heard the whole conversation from front room. I've been to several psychics in the past - some who seem to rush through readings and give you very generic information that anyone could have thought up, and could apply to really anyone. Others have been thorough, and seem to hit the nail right on the head. For me, the gentleman at Edith's readings (whose name I unfortunately forget) was in the latter category. He was spot on! My bf and I went in on a whim. I had wanted to do a couples tarot card reading for a while, and this spot just felt right. Unfortunately, he didn't offer a couple's reading, or even a group discount, so each of our readings (short at only 15 minutes) was the full price at $30 each. He did throw in a "free" crystal ball question (which added on is usually $5), but the crystal ball reading was basically him just telling us what we wanted to hear about our love life (i.e.: we're gonna be very happy together forever. Nice, but not sure I bought the validity of the crystal ball). My tarot card reading was scary accurate. He knew a lot about my past that was spot-on correct - and knew a lot about my general personality and experiences. In the cards, he brought up some questions I have been struggling with lately about my relationship, career, and future. He couldn't have known I had been struggling with such specific questions and issues, if it hadn't been in the cards. His general advice and guidance about my future felt very genuine, and will definitely help me to make the right decisions for my future. It felt less like a prediction, and more like a spiritual guidance. He knew what I was struggling with, and was able to give me the guidance to help me move forward and grow. On the other hand, my boyfriend's reading seemed a bit random. It was loosely related to his life and experiences, but wasn't quite what he was looking for. It had some random experiences that didn't really relate to his life - or were very loosely related and unimportant to him. The predictions about his path and future seemed way off, and really not the future he had planned for himself. (i.e.: plans of being a father, water sports, settling down - whereas my boyfriend doesn't have those things in his plan at all). I took it as kind of a sign that the future is unpredictable, and the way my boyfriend thinks his life will turn out, isn't actually what's "in the cards". But, it's hard to tell at this point. I suppose we'll see what happens in the next few years, and if it is correct or not! All in all, we were happy to have paid the price. Horrific. Uninviting in every way. Robert seemed taxed having to give me a generic reading while my family giggled in close proximity at how off all of it was. This was my 40th birthday and had I known about the chick around the corner who I discovered later in the trip I would have tried her first just based on the atmosphere and social graces provided. The woman around the corner read my sister and it was great. My family will always have the memory of Readings by Edith and will laugh about my lame 40th birthday for years to come so that's the silver lining. But seriously, save yourself time and money and skip this business. I wish I had read the yelp reviews first because the terrible ones are spot on. How does a business based on customer service stay afloat when the proprietor barely seems interested and doesn't know how to at least fake friendliness? So to everyone who is confused, the man who works here is not named Edith. Edith passed away, and this is her son carrying on her legacy now. I noticed a few people on here bent out of shape about that, which I don't really understand, but to clear the air, that's the deal. The man, who is named Robert, was extremely sweet and patient and did not rush through my reading or give me incomplete responses. In addition, he was almost completely spot on when going into my backstory. He was kind, he was patient, and he communicated clearly and efficiently. Whenever he WOULD give his personal piece of advice or input regarding my situation, he would disclose beforehand that it WAS his personal input and not related to what he was picking up, then he would go back to the reading. I left Robert's little space feeling much more at peace and confident about the future than I had before I visited him. This is by far the best psychic I have been to. So accurate and so honest, and if what he said is true which I fully trust it is, I'm in for an amazing future. One of my favorite things about this experience is he answered my questions in depth- and with profound answers that could definitely fit the situations I was thinking about. I know a lot of reviews are saying things like he is a waste of time and money- but I did NOT feel this way at all when speaking with him. Let me start off by saying that I am very cautious and have my guard up when it comes to getting readings done. My g/f and I were on an impromptu trip to new hope when we decided to get readings and hoped for the best.. This guy definitely was worth the risk! he was so on point it was scary! (in a good way lol). He started off with doing a palm reading with my g/f and just listening to what he was telling her I knew I was going to have a good experience as well. I was so excited when my turn came. I decided to get a tarot card reading and boy am I glad I did! He told me a lot of accurate things about myself and I learned a lot of new things. one of the first things he said to me was that I would be going through some big changes very soon and that part of it would be that I'd be dropping a lot of weight...soon as he said that I knew he was not just bullshitting me on the other stuff bc he had no idea bout this...BUT... I have a surgery scheduled for July of this year to have the gastric sleeve operation. Once he mentioned that, he had my undivided attention bc like I said there was no way he was just "generalizing" or reading my body language or anything like that. Overall, we had a great experience! It was about 20 minute reading, and he was spot on About ALOT. There are a lot of psychics in the area- but I think if you're looking for a psychic go to this one... Ok I give the place this rating because it's the lowest it will allow. I just called to simply find out the hours of operations and a VERY rude and bitter sounding man answered . Didn't say hello didn't identify the establishment and when I asked was this Edith's he answered harshly " I AM Edith what do you want?" I said I want to check your hours of operation. He then barked gruffly "we make our own hours if you want an appointment you have to call" What the What??? I was stunned. What an Angry energy! Horrible he was just horrible. I asked if my friend could takes notes and he said NO, it's against the law, "not" and it will bring bad luck. Do not waste your money. This place seemed like a really cool spot and it probably was back in the day. I stopped in to do a tarot card reading and when I walked in he was reading someone else. (In retrospect i should have realized then how impersonal that reading was going if he would stop to tell me to wait outside if I want a reading because he was about to close) I proceeded to wait outside and think to myself maybe I should go somewhere else but then that group left and I went inside. I asked about the different readings and I chose the tarot cards. I've been looking forward to one for awhile. It was so quick and sounded so rehearsed I just checked out in my mind and was beginning to get frustrated that I was about to spend money on this. He didn't explain what any of the cards meant and proceeded to recite something that sounded rehearsed and phony and didn't even seem to look at the cards while doing so. This guy was so rude it was unbelievable. I called and he was incredibly curt with me on the phone. Still, I didn't think twice about booking an appointment. I walked in three minutes before my session is supposed to start and he barks, "Do you have an appointment???" I responded, "Yes." He rudely replies, "Well you need to wait outside until I'm done with this reading." No please, no apology for the inconvenience, nothing. As if it's my fault that he has no signs posted anywhere to indicate his ENTIRE waiting room, outfitted with chairs, is off limits if he's behind a curtain doing a reading. So I walked out. Twenty minutes later, sitting outside in the cold, I see through the window the woman finally exiting his little cubby and another one who is sitting inside and waiting takes her place in the the booth (twenty minutes after my appointment should have begun!!!!). I have gone to this man once with a friend a few months ago and haven't written because I didn't have a Yelp account yet. He gave us very detailed accounts of our "future" and a few vague things about the present/near future. We were really excited by how in depth he went about who we were gonna marry and what we were going to do with our lives. The fact that his reading was entertaining is literally the only reason I am giving him two stars instead of one. I was really excited to return to him, but this time I brought a different friend. Since my friend was gay, we were gonna use him to test and see if Robert was really legit by seeing if he would say my friend will marry a man or a woman. Anyways, we went to him and not only did he say my friend would marry a female and described her as "all woman", but he used some of the same lines WORD FOR WORD that he used on me.
