Still hadnt heard anything by early evening Thursday so i replied again asking if there was a better way to coordinate an appt. By 9pm Thursday night i was growing impatient because i had other things pending that i needed to schedule but was waiting to confirm a time that i could work around so i messaged again asking of we could please confirm a time for Sunday. I did not hear anything back until Friday night at 930pm when I received a message " Tomorrow 6:30 pm ? thank you for your patience". The whole week i was advised of Sunday availability and left sunday open trying to coordinate the appt. At 930pm on a friday i am told of 630pm Sat. I was beyond frustrated. I was so excited when i found this place on google and read the amazing reviews and to go through what i went through trying to set an appt the whole week to end up with nothing was extremely disappointing. My question about a better way to coordinate appts was ignored so my reply was that i no longer had availability for the weekend after trying to set something all week and that if there was a better way to communicate then i would reach out when my schedule was a little more open (im currently battling breast cancer and have a busy schedule with appts) and if there was no better way to communicate then i was unfortunately no longer interested. I received no reply. No apologies for the poor communication. No information on an easier way to schedule. I dont understand how a business is rated so well if that is how potential clients are treated.

I would highly recommend going to the "about us" page on their website to read their many specialties, including licensed orthopedic massage therapy. Their massage sessions include extra time to discuss your personal history and needs so when you schedule an hour massage the hour starts when they start massaging. Most other places I went to before included the consultation with the hour so you were cheated precious hands on minutes. If you arive to your appointment early you get treated to a warm aroma therapy neck pillow that gets you in the mood for a splendid time. Crista is a miracle worker when it comes to headaches. She uses the latest technique for migraines and chronic headaches--cold stone therapy. I can't express how much I hate cold things on my body, but when I'm suffering a debilitating migraine I will gladly allow these super cold marble stones to lay atop my face for some much needed relief. I have yet to "try" Grace Schwartz, but knowing how particular Cynthia and Joe are about who they hire, I would bet money she is just as skilled as the rest in her particular specialized field. If you ever need a massage for chronic pain, headaches, energy, or just plain relaxation don't waste your money anywhere else. GO TO SOULAR MASSAGE!!!! Let's face it, there are times in our lives when we really want to strangle the life out of someone, or burn down our office building, or perhaps just never leave the dark comfy world under the covers of our bed. I've been there. It's no fun. Talking to someone else - anyone else - about the world inside your head can be a very scary experience, and talking to a complete stranger about the worrisome bits of your life is a definitive no...just, no. Trusting someone else enough to be able to discuss your sad places is not an easy thing, and finding the right person is very important. Dr. Cook was exactly the right person for me. She is kind, she listens without interrupting, and I never feel judged. She is a fabulous resource for outside services, and she is encouraging without being forceful. Dr. Cook accepts some insurance plans, and she has evening appointment available. Mental health is no joke. Whether you have chronic depression or situational angst, a supportive therapist can be a valuable asset, and can make a tremendous impact as you navigate life's difficult path. Taking care of yourself means more than eating right and keeping your body fit...it also means loving yourself enough to talk about your problems. The range of procedures from facials to massages to microderm is fabulous and everyone I have interacted with at Skin Secrets has been nothing but incredible. They are filled with a friendly and knowledgable staff that truly cares for their clients. When you step into SS, you are taken from a hallway filled with doctor offices to a serene oasis and a cute little fountain.
