Terrible!! I have had a few good experiences with the free healings on Tuesdays, but the last time I came to receive a treatment, the young woman who was doing the treatment, was having a conversation with someone there about paperwork DURING the treatment on me. Several times my little 10 minutes treatment was interrupted by talk of where to put paperwork, blah, blah, blah. This behavior was not only disruptive; It made me feel angry and violated. I wish I would have said something immediately when they started and continued to talk, but I shouldn't have had to say anything. I waited until the treatment was over to tell her that it was not OK for her to behave that way and that I would never dream of talking to someone else while I was giving a treatment. She thanked me for telling her and asked if there was anything she could do. Really? This is why Boulder has such a reputation for having the flakiest people on the planet, who think they are being "spiritual," and "conscious."
To top it off, my father had just died the night before and I would have felt much better if I had never gone to Psychic Horizons in the first place. I told her that I was in a vulnerable state, that I didn't feel safe and this was really f--ked up. Then I walked out, because I would have just become more angry than I already was.
For anyone, who is a healing practitioner, this is unacceptable behavior. This practitioner seemed a lot more interested in having fun, than actually facilitating a safe, relaxing experience. She ruined the experience for me by being completely and utterly disrespectful. Am I over-reacting? Maybe so, but I think losing a parent the night before, justifies a strong reaction. I will never go to Psychic Horizons again. read more
