It's been so nice to go to the same person over a long period of time, because they learn your body's "normal" and can tell when things are off. It's also been such a great learning experience, because Courtney is so knowledgeable about the body and can tell me exactly why something feels off and what's happening in my body! I've always been a big fan of massages, but I used to go less frequently, and never see the same person. I never knew what to expect and what the massage therapist's "style" would be like. With Courtney, I always know that my experience will be exactly the way I love it to be - relaxing, calming, and healing. There's always such a great ambiance at Birch & Basli - great music, aromatherapy, comfy massage table, and a very cozy room and personal experience! She is one of the most professional, yet personable and relatable massage therapists I've ever met. Her technique is so highly skilled. I can't recommend her enough!

Meeli is a very talented artist and an excellent teacher, maybe in part because she is a retired school teacher, although I believe she has the innate ability to convey novel and complex subjects in a way that the new knowledge just clicks. She actually loves teaching and it shows. Meeli is incredibly patient, and beyond kind and supportive. She teaches oil painting from a classic point of view which is what I was looking for. I've learned techniques, art concepts, and color theory without even realizing it. I would highly recommend classes with Meeli to beginners, art students with some experience and to anyone who has been painting for a while but who wants to improve their painting skills. You'll enjoy seeing your art skills develop or improve quickly and spending time with one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
