I've been here twice now and Tracey does a really good job! This place is no frills and not fancy, but they will do what you ask of them and won't try to argue with you if you point out something you don't like. I get old school acrylic and it runs me $40-45 for fill in, which is so far the most affordable prices I've found in ton. They don't nickel and dime you if you want an almond curved French shape (looking at I Luv nails down the road that charges $15 just for curved French and $5 for almond shape, and etc). It's $10 more for a manicure on top of that. read more

After 2 hours and 45 minutes...all in the chair, no waiting time, I leave with the wrong color on my toes, 4 bleeding cuticles on my fingers and nails that are longer than I asked for. Four nails had to be completely redone due to blemishes, wrinkles, tips applied crooked, or product not covering the entire nail. All of these imperfections had to be specifically pointed out to the technician. Believe me, I'm not OCD..these mistakes were unacceptable. I've been to PS Nails many times but the quality of their work seems to be declining. The salon was not busy at all. Never were there more than three people there while I was there. And several technicians were lounging with no customers waiting. I can't find a good excuse to give them for my less than desirable experience. And yes, I did mention all of these issues to the manager. She was un-phased by my comments. Needless to say, I'm looking for a different salon. read more

It pains me to write this review and everyone has their own experiences but this was far the worst experience I have had in a very long time from a nail salon. The prices are higher with mediocre service. To make the first experience short, the service technician did not do the service that my daughter asked for, and they are unfamiliar with standard services. My belief is if you are going to charge higher service prices, at least know how to do many of the basics. My second visit was the worst! I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated. I witnessed firsthand the negative demeanor of how they talk about customers coming. It was simply uncalled for and their behavior of total disrespect was too much. Within one week of being serviced, one nail tore off. I went back to have another tip replaced and the service technician was upset because I came back to have them service a nail that should not have fallen off so early in the first place. They will never have to worry about me servicing their location again. I hope others have a better experience than me and my daughter. She could also see the red flags the first time we went. Don't ever go here. I went in for a dip set and she forced me to get tips even though my nails were long enough. Then she proceeded to move my seat three times and take away the colors to choose from to give to another customer. She then forced me to choose a color quickly and when I didn't like the look of it she told me she had too many customers to deal with and didn't have time for me to pick a new color. She was extremely harsh and began to speak loudly about me to her coworkers. She yelled At my friend to move chairs as well and slammed a paper on the table to make her move even tho she made no eye contact to make it obvious that she was speaking specifically to her. I'm sure she is the owner of the business but DO NOT go here unless you want them to choose the color, shape and size of your nails all while rushing and yelling at you. read more

This isn't my first bad experience here. They are just located very close to my house and having limited time I settle. Don't go here. First they are rude!!! The lady that did my nails turned the drill up as high as it could go when I asked for my nails to be shortened. mind you they were pretty long approx an inch and I came for a fill. This lady filed my pinky nail to the quick!!! It burned and hurt so bad I should've got up and left right then. How did I go from an inch to the quick of my nail. literally no nail left. We aren't even going to talk about the 5 different length nails I have and the horrendous gel paint job. Then she had the nerve to tell me which pedicure seat to sit in. Ain't no way I'm about to let you touch my feet! I left!!! I'll never go back! Enough is enough. Now I have to go somewhere and get this Mess soaked off and get a whole new set! read more

I don't know the name of the lady who did my manicure, but she sat at the front table and was much more concerned about everything else happening in the salon than with me as her customer. She hopped up at least a dozen times during the 15 minutes that I was in the chair and managed to cut my cuticle until it began to bleed. She didn't say five words to me during the process and failed to even thank me as I left. Why I sat and waited 25 minutes to be treated so poorly is beyond me. It is possible that some of the other ladies that work here would provide better service, but this woman, who appeared to be a manager or in charge, is simply pathetic. Praying I don't and up with some horrible infection as a result of this cut cuticle. I would look elsewhere for service since it is sorely lacking here. read more

I have used this place many times, but, I won't ever go back. I took my 10 year old niece there for both mani and pedi. She asked for zebra print and I have attached a pic of what she got. I asked the girl what it was and she said zebra. I wish i had talked to management, but I didn't want my niece to think her nails looked horrible. The service and atmosphere is lackluster at best. I just moved to Dalton from Rome and this is not the level of service I am accustomed to for the price. There was no massage to speak of--the tech just rubbed some lotion on my legs. Also, the massage chair was delivered very little in the way of massage. read more

I had gel nail Polish done for the first time at my destination wedding a few weeks ago. I broke one of my nails a couple days ago and it looked jagged and terrible. I went to PS nails to see if they could fix it (my first time here). They were friendly. The salon is nicely decorated and looked clean. Lee redid my gel Polish for me and put acrylic on my broken thumb nail so it would look like the rest of my nails. He took the time to explain to me how to care for them since I told him I don't get my nails done often. He asked me several times while doing my nails if they were how I wanted and if I was okay. I thought he paid attention to detail and I'm very pleased. I would not hesitate return and request Lee. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I glad to file a couple of my nails some when I got home. read more

This place is terrible! I had SNS nails and went there to have them remove the polish. This was my first time getting it done so I didn't know the process. First, they weren't happy that was all I wanted done and kept trying to push me to get more services. They first soaked my nails in a BOWL of acetone. Then proceeded to take the electric file and remove all the polish. When they were doing it I didn't think it was soft enough. The lady just kept grinding and onto my actual nail. At one point my nails got sensitive she went so deep. Now my nails are rough, uneven, cracking and break all the time. They are ruined until they grow out. I will never go back and recommend no one else goes there either. read more

They lady was absolutely so rude to me. It was not shaped correctly and it had bubbles all over. I told her and she got absolutely mad. If a customer is NOT satisfied they should try to fix them but no she was just so bothered by it and still had the audacity to be rude. She called one of the nail techs and all they were doing was talking about me in their language which is so rude. I will NEVER go back and I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to go there. The intrigues of this location to me are its welcome to walk-ins and its detail to specific requests. Over a dozen times I have come to get my toes done, and t have brought in friends or family members each time. They always take time to complete requested services which is great because I always come late in the afternoon (mine is a night-shift schedule). Designs for my toenails have been icons idiosyncratic to me: from UTC, Christmas, nursing, various committees, awards ceremonies, summer, winter, fall, watermelon, yellow, my children's birthdays, my wedding symbols, etc. End results always get response off of my peers, friends or family members. These great nail pros look at my quick pen-to-paper drawings or listen to my explanations and just copy it. Occasionally they have redone a nail because of miscommunication, but they are great to make changes if needed. There is such versatility here. Whenever I am lacking creativity, they have two thick books of ideas for designs. I just want to add that the zebra print nails this place received some scathing comments over could have been a little more white and black striped, but I love the addition of the blue to match denim~especially in any little girl's world. If the little girl said it was good, it is. If you weren't there to clarify, hmm; maybe it discounts the negativity in your comment. Again, be clear in what you want, and correct wrong on the first nail you find it error in, and they will leave you with nails you will love. They are just human. I feel they are rather tolerant humans and I have always been pleased. read more

I got my nails and eyebrows done here last night. Vicki (or whoever was in the first chair) waxed my eyebrows and they are so thin that it's hard to believe a professional nail shop would do such an inept job. She was also doing about 10 others things while doing my nails. Maybe it's because I'm from out of town, but this nail shop is way below par and unprofessional. Save your money and try some place else. read more
