Steve at Prestige Autotech diagnosed the problem and fixed it with a new part called a valve block. The cost was less than I feared and it is now better than ever. I found Prestige Autotech on the internet contacted 'Phil' and described the problem and he gave me a very competitive estimate (£216 +vat to replace both front springs) and we booked it in for the following morning. The repair was carried out most efficiently, I found their workshops to be very clean and modern and Phil to be most helpful and knowledgeable. My car was back on the road and off to the test centre for retesting (which it passed of course) by early afternoon and the final bill exactly what it said on the tin. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will be returning for all my future motoring needs.

I find it hard to believe what I see here from some people . You cant expect tyres to not get punctures if you drive where their are nails and screws left in the road . Dont blame the garage , blame the builders that leave their screws in the road . Look where you are parking , and where the glass is laying around from bear bottles . It is down to you to look what you are driving through . I think some people need a sense of proportion . This is a great service at this garage , If it was bad why would I keep returning .

They also advised that I needed essential work done on my brakes that I did not need when got a 2nd opinon - and they used scare tactics. Avoid like the plague!
