The staff here show a serious lack of professional morality, patience, and genuine care for young children. Rather than nurturing and encouraging each child at their own pace, they seem quick to judge and dismiss those who don't immediately meet expectations. Every child deserves teachers who show kindness, understanding, and love--especially at such an early, formative stage. Unfortunately, this school fails to provide that kind of supportive environment. If your child needs a little more guidance or reassurance as they adjust to learning, this is not the right place for them.

They really care for the children with their heart and we get wonderful arts each week. We also made friends that we still keep in touch with after preschool from this place. The classes are in a small size so that each child get the attention they deserve. I also love their play based learning because at this age, I think it's more important for them to have fun while learning and my child knows his A B C's and learn to write his name from this school. If you want your child to love school and ask to go on weekends (lol), this is the place!!

They have the very best teachers and staff who are passionate about loving and leading the children who spend their days here. They are very organized and kind in their parent interactions and go above and beyond what is expected by having monthly parenting classes, with childcare, for the parents of their students. They use play and experiences to teach children, while also helping add structured experiences so kids are ready to transition to kindergarten in a different and more structured environment. Their chapel leaders are also quite amazing and my son has learned so much about Jesus through their teaching each week.

I had to withdraw my daughter because I couldn't deal with the director for a whole year. On top of that, she changed rules without letting parents know. My daughter was being sent to the office and removed from her classroom and having lunch alone in the office. No one ever communicated this with me. I had to find that out by other parents telling me they saw my child in the office. My daughter later told me she would be sad when she went to the office. My daughter was 3 years old at the time. If my child was acting up, they should have contacted me about it instead of isolating her and having her think she's a bad person. In a conversation with me Aandra used very passive aggressive language and in a super condescending tone. Aandra isn't a good leader, and clearly has trouble regulating her own emotions. There are so many preschools in the area that are far better than this one.

IMHO - It's unfortunate our public schools have to be like prison with locked doors and metal detectors - this is the way school should be - parents able to come and go freely w/o going through security. I also feel communication is just fine. They post outside the classroom all the lessons they learned each day and have conferences with the parents twice a year. As first-time parents while I worked from home, we were initially considering a nanny share, and I am so glad we found Ms. Muditha instead. Her influence on your child will be evident as they demonstrate the incredible knowledge and habits they've learned through routine, instructional play, mealtime, potty training, naptime (read: sleep training), and so much more. She takes every opportunity to teach your child. I witnessed my son learn and develop so many practical life skills, motor skills, language, music, yoga, outdoor play, manners and more than you could imagine. At first I was anxious about my infant's safety with toddlers around but quickly understood Stepping Stone had that under control, and it didn't take long to realize my son was learning from the older children's example. Our son loved going to see his friends at Stepping Stone every day - from infancy until Ms. Muditha told us he was ready to move on to preschool. I cherish my time in knowing her, her staff and her family. While my son has been fortunate to have had wonderful caregivers and educators since, some of their names have been forgotten and their influence less noticeably impactful. My daughter started at LPA in the infant room with Jennifer, who was just wonderful. I love that they make bringing bottles and baby food for your babe so easy, and then once your kiddo is big enough to eat real food, they provide it all! I've totally gotten spoiled not having to pack diapers and food for Penny every day. Once Penny was older, she transferred to the toddler room and has developed in leaps and bounds! We lovelovelove her teachers Laylan, Jovani, Senait, Nicole, and all the rest who pop in to help out regularly. They have daily outside play (weather permitting), do fun activities, crafts, have music class, sometimes outside vendors are brought in to do things like a science show or an animal show-and-tell, etc. Penny has blossomed here and loves going to "school" to see all her friends and teachers. Leaving your kids in the hands of others can be a bit heart wrenching, but it's a wonderful feeling knowing that they are in safe, loving hands like I know is the case with every child at LPA. Everyone always seems happy to see us when we arrive, I genuinely feel the love and care that Penny's teachers have for her, and I truly feel like we've become part of the family here.
