What can I do today to close more transactions tomorrow? Jaco has a great program that walked me through, step by step, what I could do to improve my marketing. But theory is not enough, he helped and pushed me to implement successful practices. As a small business owner or self-employed person, you must have skills in a large variety of different areas. Marketing was one of my weak points, but I have others. When Jaco started to help me improve my marketing, I ran into other weaknesses that held me back, such as time management. The great thing about Jaco was that he was able to shift from a marketing consultant to a business consultant--he helped me with anything that I needed to help me propel my business! Social Media Ninjas transformed our business from one with virtually "NO" online presence to "FIRST…read morePAGE LISTINGS" within a few short months. As first time small business owners with much invested in creating a top tier business and a great website, our investment in advertising to optimize our website had proven ineffective with a negative return on investment. To get our business successfully launched, we quickly realized it would take a pro to effectively optimize our website. From my initial conversation with Sean Daily, I knew we had found what we were looking for. Although it took a bigger financial investment to work with SMN, the ROI within three months was tremendous. Our phone and website contacts ramped up quickly and gave us the online presence to get out of the gate quickly and become profitable in our first year! 7 years later, we could not have asked for better SEO for our business. Working with Social Media Ninjas provided us entire freedom to focus on running our business. We came to respect that SEO is a real expertise and it is essential to do it well. SMN has been consistently A+ and worth every penny of our investment for their service. We know that hosting our website on our own was not an option. It would have taken a level of expertise that was beyond our interest and capacity, as well as robbed us of time we completely needed for business operations, family and rest. Sean and his team are the real deal, offering top tier SEO and exceptional business interaction. Could not recommend more!

Sean sold me the (not inexpensive) services of his California web team to start on Jan 1. I bought…read more6 months upfront. They didn't follow up until Jan 18 and at that time revealed that they intended to outsource the work overseas which I was surprised and not comfortable with. (anyway that is much cheaper, why would I pay $1,000/mo for Asian SEO services!) When I asked for a refund Sean refused claimed that he had already spent all the money, and claimed that the words "12 month program" on the invoice he sent me in fact obliged me to not only accept the inferior services but continue to do so for 12 months. This has been an enormous financial blow for my small business, and I was utterly taken aback by the extremely poor handling of the issue by Sean. Letting people into your sensitive website code requires a lot of trust, and I DEFINITELY would not trust this team after this experience.

I heard saying once, that building a website is like giving birth to a porcupine. After 11 years in business and at least 5 sites I totally agreed, that is until working with Eric and his team. The process had direction and focus, they stayed on top of me for the info that was needed and they took feedback like professionals. Thanks Zenergy, web sites still may be a bit porcupiny but this one was way smoother ever before.

We are an audiovisual production and equipment rental company…read more We purchased print and digital ad space in our local business journal to promote a winter sale. Wanting to make the most of our investment, we hired smallnormous to help dial in our strategy and come up with a brilliant execution. Our goal was to increase visibility and business during our slow season. We wanted to have an on-brand, cohesive look and feel to our ads across multiple channels. We vetted over 100 local marketing firms via Yelp and Google, looking for a particular level of quality. We were surprised to read how focused they were on helping small businesses. We were sure that they'd be out of our price range. After a very generous free strategy session and fully understanding our needs, they gave a proposal for performing each need piecemeal -- the kind of bites our budget needs. We prioritized a new print ad, two digital ads, and on their wise suggestion, a landing page so that ad space could be conserved and greater detail could be provided on the landing page. Jennifer is the copywriter and Eric graphic design. Both are top-notch strategists and complemented each other well. The work product produced was much better quality than what we had before, which was the first success. Time will tell, but we think this campaign will be more effective than our marketing in the past, as they were able to dig to the emotional driver behind the promotion and develop copy and imagery to support it. They selected just the right photography and while the ad has a distinctive feel, it's certainly in line without already developed brand. That takes serious skill! Smallnormous is exactly who they present to be -- high-level marketers affordable for the small business. There are lots of graphic designers out there touting branding experience. Developing a logo for a friend is not the same as being seriously educated in branding and marketing. These folks are the real deal. I will use them for as long as they'll have us!
