I felt like other tax specialists were just filing my taxes before just to get over with. They never asked questions about what is coming into my account and what is going out of it and for what purpose. Since this office is added to my QuickBooks, they analyze the account activity. I have used TurboTax and H&R Block in the past, years later I realize that I never knew all tax benefits that I was eligible for. I never got any tax returns. Uncle Sam would never give me. You can use self-service platforms only if you know exactly what you are doing. My situation is not that simple, I have multiple 1099 like forms, W2, tax forms from trading platforms like Webull and TD AmeriTrade from stock trading, so I need a professional eye to go through them. They steal their clients' money and cook fake numbers to hide it. This week I reviewed some of the estate accounting for a file I was working on, and found that the accountant Zell who this firm is named after helped embezzle at least 85k, plus there are several hundred thousand dollars of financial accounts that went missing, and Zell was in cahoots with the lawyer in the case who put his friend's name on the deed to my client's house, which wasn't even part of the estate he was working on (she asked me to leave this review). I also uncovered evidence of an ongoing conspiracy involving Sam Schmeul to embezzle almost $4 million more, which we prevented. I reported my findings to law enforcement and the state body that regulates accountants, and was advised that if the accusation is confirmed, Schmeul will lose his accountant license and may be arrested. Does that sound like an accounting firm you can trust? If not, do not use this firm.
