The First National Bank of Anderson has many good African- American customers. Yet, the bank does…read morenot have any African-American employees! I think they are probably the only bank in Grimes County that does not have at least one African-American employee! They will lie, and say that they don't have an African-American employee because no one has applied for any position there. I know for a fact this is not true! They always say there is no position open. They have even gone as far as to say that they had one "black worker years ago," as if this justifies them not having one now. My goodness, this employee worked there back in the 70s! This employee was qualified, but was only hired by the insistence of the NAACP, according to historic records. What is wrong with these people??? They need to wake up! This is the 21st century!!! They will smile in your face, as long as you don't want to work there!!! How hypocritica! I hope and pray that God will turn things around at this bank, which has all the characteristics of a clearly prejudiced bank. The Bible clearly states that, "the first shall be last, and the last shall be first." My dream is that one day this bank will change its close minded hiring process and employ desiring, qualified African-American workers, and there are many! Wake up, First National Bank of Anderson "powers in high positions" before it is too late! You might be up today, but be aware that, warning comes before destruction!!! Just do the right thing!
