Hello. I was studying with Culture studies in Hoi An, Vietnam in 2011 and Peace and Conflict…read moreStudies in India 2012. I will give you my own personal review on both study program. First Development in Vietnam and under this one, i will tell you about Peace and Conflict Studies in India. Cheers! :) Development studies is an exciting subject with introduction to issues of development and globalization as well as an introduction to Vietnamese and regional culture and society. Development Studies is about learning how to develop a sustainable community in the form of, for example, a democracy with the distribution of power and natural resources. In many ways this is a course for those who want to work for a charity/help organization in the future. I was studying with people from all over North-Europe, many Scandinavians and some students from Vietnam. We all had different educations, ages, ethnic and religious beliefs. It was so funny, exciting and a stable and serious learning environment. Our lecturers were from many different countries and had good and up to date knowledge, which was very relevant to the subjects. Students live in two neighboring hotels with two students in each room. Rooms cleaned every day. There is breakfast in the hotel before the students go to a public school with Vietnamese. There are the simple classrooms with Internet and students have two hours of lectures each day before they run, take the bus or cycle through stunning countryside to come to the study center. It serves a hot and good lunch before students have either seminars or enjoying life on the beach. Evenings are often out at restaurants, markets and bars where students arrange various games etc, such as quiz night or movie night. Hoi An is an old French colonial town of tailors, restaurants, markets and kind Vietnamese on every street corner. The city is visited frequented by tourists and Hoi An can be described as one of Vietnam's finest cities, and is a well-developed city. Hoi An has great beaches and is surrounded by beautiful scenery and rice fields. I even helped out sometimes in the field. They loved it, but it was very warm and tiring, hehe. :) There are opportunities for many activities such as martial arts, cooking, diving, fishing, motorcycle tours and abseiling. There are also fitness centers. My studies in Vietnam gave me many new friends, which I also back packet with after the studies. It was important for me to be able to mix studies, where I get 30 credits and are able to implement it in a bachelor degree at a later stage in my life, but also to explore and to discover the world. By studying with cultural studies, I have learned a lot about people, cultures, religions, and especially myself. This was the best year of my life so far! Good trip, hehe. :) Now ill give you my review on Peace and Conflict studies. I hope you enjoy it. I was studying in India with Culture Studies. I studied Peace and Conflict studies and I can really recommend it for other students. You will be studying in the state Tamil Nadu, south east in India. The city is an old French colonial town with many Indian markets, shops, bazars, restaurants and good crazy Indian vibe and fun, hehe. You are going to love India. Nothing is like this beautiful and large country with an interesting history, people, culture, society and all the religions are well represented. Students live in three different apartment complexes and they have a good standard with simple kitchen facilities, toilets and bathrooms with hot shower! That's luxuries! Haha All apartments have nice rooftops where students have an academic discussions, parties or quiz or movie nights. You will meet a lot of interesting people. I studied together with students from Afghanistan, India, Kashmir, Nepal and Sri Lanka. And I also studied with North-Europeans such as Germans, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. We all had different background and ages. But it was cool and gave the studies many funny and interesting debates and discussions. We had international teachers and lecturers who had interesting and inspiring classes which gave me an understanding of International conflicts and tools to solve different levels of peace talks. After school we had many different activities such yoga, martial art, Bollywood dance classes, cooking classes or work with street children. It was a lot to do, and you were never bored, hehe.

Plus of course many of his works including a rotation of three of his "The Scream" works. Some aspects of the exhibit are a bit depressing as he was a very troubled person with many medical issues. There are also sections with adult content so parents with children should be aware. Be sure and have a drink at the rooftop bar for excellent views.

Before you begin viewing the artwork, it's best to check your purse or bag in the cloak room, unless you don't mind security going through it. I enjoyed the interactive aspects of the museum. This includes walking through a skeletal mock-up of his home, from one dark and eery black room to the next. I picked up the phone that was ringing, but no one was on the other end...There's also a room exhibiting his prints only. At the back, an etched table, along with materials where you can create your own prints. As expected, the room where "The Scream" is being exhibited is the most crowded. Glad I had the chance to view all three versions. The price of admission includes the headphone set tour, which I opted out of.
