Okay. Disclosure:…read moreThis review is not of the Church, but of an event that was held there tonight. FOOD TRUCKS YA'LL! A good friend messaged me and sent me info. regarding one of her favorite food trucks- The Lemongrass Shack. A Cambodian Curry paradise on wheels. And....since this soiree was in my backyard, I said to myself..."self, lets do this." After just eating dinner & dessert I still couldn't pass this up. Since the event ended at 9p, I had just a couple hours to do some damage. Something about rolling up on the scene and spotting milk carton shaped trucks; marked up and ready to serve. My eyes were going bananas, and I think my trail of drool marks...were enough to rival the storm that's about to land in the basin within the next 24. Okay. The green...bamboo lighted 1/2 truck was the first truck I saw. The Lemongrass Shack. Full effect. Friendly. Pricey (but worth it.)(1 order was enough for 2.)(btw, I finished 1 order.) Having transitioning into a vegetarian/vegan based mentality, I looked over the chicken, beef selections, which looked and smelled incredible- I went with the Coconut Curry Shrimp with slaw & Toasted coconut water. Wow. Are you kidding me. Incredible. Smh. My guest went with the beef tacos, Cambodian style. They looked great and the review was stellar. /sigh/ Believe this- still had room for homemade donuts. Yes. A dozen zebra styled donuts. Crushed them. Not ashamed. Worth every calorie. My spirit and belly was surely satisfied tonight. Love love great food. More importantly the great people I met tonight. A lot goes without saying how food...cuisine, breaking bread and good company is the basis of any healthy....soulful relationship. Out.

I've personally found this church to be deeply committed to the faithful teaching of Scripture and…read morethe spiritual growth of its people. The preaching is expository, Christ-centered, and rooted in sound biblical doctrine rather than entertainment or surface-level messages. The pastor teaches with both conviction and care, and it's evident that he genuinely loves God's Word and desires to see people grow in obedience to Christ. Biblical teaching can sometimes be challenging and convicting, but that is part of genuine discipleship and spiritual maturity. Beyond the preaching, the worship ministry is reverent and God-centered, and the children's and youth ministries are excellent. My family has been encouraged not only spiritually, but also through the genuine care and community within the church. No church is perfect, but from what I've experienced, this is a church that sincerely seeks to honor Christ and remain faithful to His Word.

Where do I start? What a letdown. The sermon was forgettable, chaotic, and pandering. He started…read moreout with a message but it was mostly about him and the other elder holding out their hat begging for donations. This place looks totally rundown. I guess they are going for the reclaimed driftwood from a junkyard look. See pictures from my phone. They renamed the church to grace maricopa but some visitors I talked to tell me they renamed it a few years ago too. People in the church seem friendly but nobody knows whats going on. Areas of the church are very dirty and equipment is propped up on chairs. As you walk in, you will see other disarray in staff only areas like nobody cares. My kids were in sunday school and they said it was ok until two of the kids started fighting, we could hear it. We could see the pastor getting visually agitated at the noise coming from sunday school. Skip it. We had a rotten time here.
