I have two vacation rental properties that I hired Pronghorn to clean the past two summers. I have high standards for cleaning and provided them with guide books and regular feedback. I am a 5 star, premier and super host. The first summer they were inconsistent and I constantly had to clean in-between guests. This summer was absolutely abysmal. Constant redirection and guidance was provided. There were rarely the same cleaners. Each very inconsistent. I had to hire someone else three separate times to clean both my houses after they had cleaned. On one occasion this summer our guests arrived to find incredible amounts of dirt, stained sheets and general filth and had to clean the house themselves. It was very upsetting and I did not charge her and refunded the cleaning fee. Pronghorn only discounted a pittance, far less than the full amount. My guest's complaint sums up my experience with Pronghorn: "She (your neighbor came by) was kind enough to take the trash from the last guests out to the dumpster and offered multiple times to clean but frankly we had already done it. The house is now swept, floors wet mopped and vacuumed, including under all the beds where there was a lot of dust, and all surfaces we dusted and wiped down. We found extra sheets in the closet since I last wrote but figured out afterwards there were no king size sheets that we could find so instead we spotted the fitted sheet as best we could but were not able to get all the stains out. You will want to replace the fitted sheet. We also washed the bathroom rugs which needed it."
Pronghorn will no longer be cleaning for us. Complaints were communicated, changes promised but the cleaning remained inconsistent and not up to standard.
Overall, I found that they overcharged and under delivered. read more
