I'd highly, highly recommend to stay away from this Sylvan Center, and Sylvan in general. It's…read morebeen the most horrible and unprofessional customer experience I've ever had to deal with. The Director Afrah is childishly unprofessional. I paid $2,700 dollars in April of 2025 for my granddaughter to receive tutoring. In June, my son and daughter had to move out of state and were told by Afrah that we could receive a refund, or possibly have the money transferred to the Sylvan in our new town so we could continue with tutoring. The catch was that we had to wait a month. We did as we were told and called after a month. We spoke with Afrah at one point, and then missed a call from her at another time. When my son-in-law called her back a few days later, she had the audacity to hang up on him three times in a row before he could say a word. There was no argument....nothing. Just hang ups. He called back once more and Afrah (it was definitely her on the line) said he had the wrong number and - when he asked who he'd called - said (with some hesitation) he had called "Bob Moran's Office." Come on! If we weren't able to get a refund that is fine - just tell us that! Don't leave us wondering what in the heck is going on, and insulting our intelligence like she did. To add insult to injury, we have reached out to corporate, but they have never gotten back to us either. The part that makes me feel pretty bad is that I had to tell the woman at the Sylvan here that - although it was no fault of her own - I could never trust a Sylvan again - nor give them my money.....
