This is the most unprofessional photographer ever the photos are soo horrible from the angle taken to how many takes per photo, poor quality, faces distorted from whatever cheap camera was being used, only 1 takes of each photo so you cant even choose and had to get them to get them edited elsewhere. THIS is the reason my review is over a year after my wedding, this photo studio. I regret every single day signing a contract with them. When we were shopping around for photographers, we met with Mikhail who owns the studio and he seemed great. Broke everything down for us, showed us samples of his work, gave us a decent price and we were sold. Now come the day or the wedding, a completely different photographer appears when all along we were given the impression that Mikhail would be the photographer. The photographer we got was rude, didn't speak English (my husband is American and so is his whole side of the family), and was just not good at what he does. We have pictures in front of the chupah before the chupah is complete, there is a gorgeous gazebo on the water at Russo's that we were constantly told "later, later" and later never came, and he kept trying to put us in the most awkward poses. The videographer seemed ok but the photographer gave me the creeps. Now it doesn't end there! We get our pictures and I'm told to select which ones I want in what albums, so I do in exactly the way that I was told to do it. We wait, and wait some more, until I finally call the studio and am told that I gave the wrong numbers for the pictures and so i had go through all the pictures again and give the "right" number even though I followed the instructions given to me in the beginning because hi, I'm not an idiot. Finally send the correct numbers for the pictures and once again the waiting game starts. No contact whatsoever from Mikhail unless we call him. We finally get images of the photo albums, for which he has given us a specific amount of photos to choose. He then decides to stick in random photos into the albums that we did not choose. My wedding album has a picture of me from the back where my back fat is literally hanging over my dress, very horrible picture and angle. In what universe would someone think a picture like that is ok for a wedding album?! I was so annoyed with the whole process at this point that I said fuck it and just wanted to be done with this company so I left it alone. The wedding video is okay, but the pictures are honestly mediocre at best. Every bride wants to feel beautiful on her wedding day, and I unfortunately have memories shown in photos that are weakly edited and don't look all that professional. We were also supposed to get 2 big portraits which we had to remind him about, gave him the pictures and he of course made one of the portraits the wrong picture. When confronted, he said he'll make the right picture and we can keep the wrong one for free so ok that was cool, thanks. This was weeks ago, possibly months. My dad finally calls saying he's in the neighborhood and would like to pick up the portrait and shocker, it's not ready. The owner says something like if you'll be around in the next 2 hours I'll stop by and make it so my dad purposely stayed around just to make sure we get the damn picture. Our package included thank you note pictures to send out to our guests, and we requested 100 and got 75, and this was already almost a year past our wedding, so then we had to wait longer for the rest of them. It was just an overall complete headache to work with this company and I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Save yourself the anxiety and your money and to someone who actually respects their customers. read more

If you're looking for a professional photographer do not use prolux studios. He will tell you what you want to hear and then deliver something else. We had asked for a specific shiny blue cover album for our son's bar mitzvah, when it came time to pick up the album it was not a shiny blue cover when we asked him why not his answer to us was this is what they sent me I don't know what to tell you! There were pictures in the album that we had not picked. A mother-son dance should not be put on the same page with aunts and uncles and when we asked him to change it he had told us that is what we had picked which was incorrect. The bottom line is he did change the album for us but in addition charge me $35 for an additional page which was his era to begin with. Showed no remorse or sympathy. So if you're looking to capture your special day do not use Michael or his team. The videographer was horrible as well the only shots he got was the dance floor and the stage there were no table pictures there were no pictures from around the room and out of about 125 guests maybe seven people spoke on the mic that's not an aggressive videographer.
