I went to Linda last year for full body laser hair removal. I was very hesitant because I have dark skin, but she assured me she had the best and safest laser and tonnes of experience.... The test session went ok and the following session was fine. The next session I noticed large burnt lesions on the back of my legs and thighs. Linda brushed it off as Normal and assured me it would not scar. ONE year later and the scars are still there. I just thank God it wasn't my FACE. Her laser is NOT suitable for dark skin tones OR she did something wrong with the intensity. Either way I don't feel she even properly apologized, no refund was offered. No efforts to follow up and check how I'm doing were made. Don't try to save a few $'s, go to a Licensed clinic who can show you multiple before/after pics of dark skinned clients. i have always wanted to get my back and shoulders done but i always put it off until my friends recommended to me Prolaser so i thought i would give it a try. The place is very calming and comfortable and most of all private which was important for me. Linda was amazing, she made me feel very comfortable and the whole process was so easy but most of all i was really happy of how effective it was. The hair is all gone , my back and shoulders are nice and smooth and i could not be happier. thanks to my friends for the recommendation and thank you Linda for the great service. HAIR TYPE -coarse -thick -dark Myself and my sisters have been going through the process of laser hair removal for at least 5 years. We have dealt with 3 other laser estheticians, and although they have been kind to us, their prices for the littlest hair removal have been through the roof and we barely saw results. After my very first session with LINDA, I saw immediate results, as did my sisters. Her prices are extremely reasonable, she is extremely professional, and extremely reliable. I would recommend (and I have) her to anyone. Especially to those who have similar hair as I do (such as I state above). Linda will give you the smooth skin you've always wanted and thought you could never have. She is so kind to her clients and respects her clients. I also wanted to take this opportunity to respond to SARAH B.'s review of ProLaser. I have some comments to make about her statement, which I can do professionally and academically seeing as I work in the Copy Center at Staples, as well, I graduated with a Bachelor of Honours from Criminology which involves the study of legality. I will keep it simple and in point form: -First, you can't just walk into Staples and print certificates. Our laws on Copy Right require that in order to print, we must contact the school or company to certify that the certificate is authentic. Therefore, her certificates wouldn't be a fake. AND SHE IS CERTIFIED. -second, in order to even try to upload a video of anyone's business (whether for personal use or public) would require you to have her sign a release form allowing you to have her business on tape. If you are interested in tattoo removal, youtube it. There are many people who have posted them with the right legal requirements. -Third, her "clinic" is actually a renovated Spa made to look like the ones you would see in a plaza. Also, many people these days have home businesses which are legit. -and fourth, her certificates are hung right on the wall for everyone to see. All in all, before you judge someone for being a fake, get own facts straight like maybe asking an actually Staples associate about what the requirements are for printing a certificate. Also, the next time you want to get a business involved with you, make sure you have the proper legal documents. In addition, in Canada, businesses have the right to turn away clients if they no longer feel comfortable serving them. It is clear that your review was no true review, and that you just took this opportunity to hurt someones career because they did not want to have the removal of your tattoo and THEIR BUSINESS on video. Furthermore, I trust Linda to give me the results I want and my sisters and I have never been more satisfied. Linda released me as a client for tattoo removal because I asked to video tape the procedure. I stated no faces or voices would be in it (except mine because it hurts a lot, trust me) and I said only for a few seconds. She told me she isn't comfortable with me as a client and wished me good luck just like that over a text message. Not very professional in my opinion. These days everyone wants to videotape something interesting in their life. Tattoo removal is a neat procedure and not many people are aware of the process so I wanted to show a fiend or two. I"lll re-add the tattoo is on my wrist and not in any personal area on my body. Not only did she release me she told me my request was "WEIRD" (quote). I disagree. I"m not sure how personally videotaping my own tattoo removal for 15 seconds is weird or a violation of other clients privacy but that's what she said. Got me thinking though. The clinic is in the back of her house. Clean and quiet I'll admit and very private. So how do we really know anyone is properly licensed??? Anyone can buy a machine on ebay and print a certificate at Staples. I idea that me videotaping was SOOOOO bad makes me wonder if Linda is properly certified. Not trying to throw stones, but if anything is "WEIRD" it's the fact she over reacted when I Asked to document a part of my life that is both painful emotionally and physically.
