I attended PMP training in Baltimore, MD from 11/11/24 to 11/14/24. My instructor was Scott Fass. I am so glad he was my instructor. The format of the class was intense but very regimented and Scott always kept us on schedule. His background in managing projects was nothing short of amazing. We learned so much in both the textbook and the stories shared. I wasn't able to schedule my exam until 1/17/25 because PMA had no open slots. I was a little nervous testing so long after boot camp. I took a total of 12 Practice Exams before I tested. After each Practice Exam I went back to the Quiz builder and studied again. I listened to all the classes and kept the material fresh. About a week before the exam I reached out to Scott because I was getting a little concerned that my scores had not improved. He encouraged me to test every day until exam day. I progressively watched my scores go up. The night before the exam I went to bed real early and got a good night's rest. I am pleased to say that I passed PMA yesterday 1/17/.25. I took this class in May of 2022. Anand Pulchan was the instructor and he did a fantastic job. He was able to portray the information in a way that was relatable by offering real world examples of how you can apply the Project Management Professional practices in professional and recreational projects. He was also patient and versatile with his teaching methods for a diverse group of students. The course allowed the student to dive into the PMP principles on a higher level and gain a better understanding of the fundamentals. The tools and practice exams offered from this course were also very helpful to gauge your readiness for scheduling the exam. I took the PMP exam prep course in February 2018 and passed the exam on my first attempt in March 2018. There's a reason they guarantee you will pass on your first try - the class is great, the exam prep materials are top-notch, and the instructor (Alan Gopin) really did a fantastic job imparting his knowledge about the subject and the exam. As a bonus, I also utilized the tutors to assist me with my certification application, which was really helpful. He was able to relate all PMI processes to his personal "in the field" experiences, making the content much easier to grasp.
