I told them after a week it wasn't the position advertised and I appreciated the opportunity but it wasn't for me. We agreed that there was no need to pay me for the week and I would look at it as a learning experience, was never paid but sure enough I received a W2 after the first of the year stating that I was paid. I reached out to multiple people at Avid and no one bothered to return email or calls. I Can not speak to the quality of their work but as to their hiring practices as well as the treatment of employees I would definitely suggest anyone considering a position with Avid to pursue other opportunities. I would not recommend them as an employer to anyone based on my experience.
