Horrible service. Made me pay for items that weren't even cleaned. I didn't realize it until I made it home.

If you use Professional Cleaners in the Kroger shopping center, I would caution you to change dry cleaners. My wife dropped off items to be cleaned, including my suit jacket, slacks, dress shirt and a couple of dresses back in January. The clothing was then lost. Every time she has gone into check on them, they claim there is nothing in their system showing she dropped anything off. Unfortunately our claim ticket was misplaced, so we have no "proof". She has never once been able to talk to the owner or store manager. I went in two days ago and got the same run around. I asked to speak to the owner or manager and was told by my the two women that their boss, Anthony, is never there. They copied my list of lost clothing and took my number. I'm still waiting for Anthony to call me and discuss my $600 worth of clothing. It's no wonder they have multiple reviews on Yelp with only one star. read more

If you like to keep your nice clothes looking good, avoid this place. My husband's WHITE Calvin Klein shirt came back with YELLOW SPOTS. Additionally, his Hugo Boss suit came back MISSING A BUTTON. Both of these items were returned sandwiched between other shirts I got cleaned; I guess they did this so these mistreated items wouldn't be noticeable when they were picked up. The lady who is apparently "management" is unwelcoming and unprofessional. She is rude for no reason and not the least bit accommodating. She clearly doesn't understand small business etiquette and the fact that customer satisfaction directly impacts your revenue. This is the worst Dry cleaner I have ever been to. You clothes will not get cleaned. Two examples: 1. When I ask for light starch they use heavy starch. 2. Comforter (dirty and with cat hair) was returned still dirty and with cat hair still on it. They are consistently running out of supplies so your items are not always returned in a bag. Dear yelp users, let me start by clarifying. The only reason I gave them a star is because ZERO stars is not an option. I brought around 15 articles of clothing. I specifically said "I need this red skirt by tomorrow" the girl said "that will not be a problem". In the drive through the next day they hung up a pile of shirts and I noticed the red skirt was not there. This was done by the same girl that was there yesterday. So she knew my dire situation obviously. I then noticed that an additional 6 shirts missing. After being charged for all of them. She then brought the skirt that was not cleaned or pressed because it still had traces of bourbon street all over it. Can you say bar tar?! As an aspiring top model I was displeased. I was manhandled into coming in because they could not find my clothes. The same female individual that I was dealing with had no answer for where my clothes were. In retrospect this all ended with the girl crying and the establishment closing two hours earlier. DONT EVER GO THERE OR EVEN LOOK AT IT WHEN YOU DRIVE. FOR THE SAKE OF SOCIETY THIS PLACE SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS. read more

Brought my brand new slacks to them to have dry cleaned, which is what I paid for. They put them through the wash. A couple of days after I got them home I noticed that the waist band was all wrinkled. Tried them on and they had shrunk a full size. When I took them back the manager said they do what the tag says. I told her I paid to have these dry cleaned not laundred so that they would not shrink. Her excuse is that they do what the tag says. So now they want to strech them back into shape. I'm still waiting for her to get back to me. I never take things to the cleaners that I can hand wash myself. Beware that you wont get what you paid for. read more

This is a great place to get your down comforters dry cleaned at the end of the season. The service is very good and the comforters are returned in a neat package that can be used to store for the summer. read more

Please DO NOT use this dry cleaner. Had a dress I had forgotten to pick up went in to put some uniforms in to be cleaned (never had a problem with them in 6 years). The girl said the dress was in the computer as being in the racks and would be ready when I picked up the uniforms the following day. The next day uniforms were ready but no dress as the computer was saying it was picked up (not by me). No apologies, would get the manager to call me did not hear from him for 7 days (after me calling everyday to talk to him). No apologies from him either just trying to blame me for not picking it up on time. He was very rude, very unhelpful not sure how they stay in business with the reviews they have. read more

If you are reading this review STAY AWAY from Professional Cleaners in Auburn Al!!! They have extremely poor service and customer service and unfortunately I learned about this the hard way!! As a loyal customer for several years I had an issue with a comforter and the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful when I tried to get the situation resolved. Long story short they gave someone else my comforter and I tried for months to get them to tell me whether or not they could even get my comforter back. They told me tons of times they could not contact the person who had it at first. Then finally after almost 2 months they must have contacted the other person they had given it to and told me that the gentleman who had my comforter was going to bring it back (of course I was not really happy about this because I did not really want a comforter back if another customer had it for almost 2 months). I had already requested that I be reimbursed but they insisted they could get it back (so I just hoped that it had not been taken out of the bag or did not appear to have been used). Then I was called and told the comforter was back and ready for pick up. I went to pick it up on multiple occasions and they either could not find it or said they made a mistake and it had not yet been returned. Although I really did not want the comforter back by this point I tried to give the business the benefit of the doubt and I still assumed that when I got the comforter back that the other person would have not used it (since he had supposedly been contacted and told that he had the wrong comforter). However when I went to pick it up (after speaking directly to the manager a week or so before and being told that it was being cleaned and would be ready the next time I came by) I asked while I was picking the comforter up "how the comforter was dropped off "and I was told that when the gentlemen brought it back that it was not in a sealed or closed plastic bag like it would have been had it not been used. So evidently over the course of this time the person had used it. First off, why would they even give me back a comforter that they knew had been used by another customer mistakenly? Even if they clean it just good customer service would dictate that you reimburse the customer for the comforter. However, after reading the other review I can see that they dont even clean their comforters in the first place so they probably could care less what they give me back. Moreover, I guess it makes since why they make you pay when you drop off comforters since they know they will not clean it and since you have already paid. What can you do if you have already paid and it is not cleaned! What a scam!! Anyway, I requested to be reimbursed for the comforter because in this age of bedbugs, etc. I was just not comfortable getting this back and bringing this into my home (since it was obvious that it was not brought back in the same condition that it was given to the guy in). Needless to say I called the owner (had his number because he has called me about this issue before and I was also given his number once at the cleaners to contact about the problem) and was dismissed and treated extremely rude. He actually told me he was at lunch with friends, his business was closed and he would take care of this later and practically hung up on me!!! Can you believe it???? I called him at around 12:15/30 because I had just left the cleaners and they closed at 12:00!!!! And to think of the thousands of dollars I know I have spent at this business over the past several years!!!). Glad he appreciated my business!!!! Now after reading the review from 1/9/2009 I can see that this is standard for this business and will definitely not go again. Moreover, I will spread the word about the poor customer service, rudeness, and lack of accountability for their mistakes regarding this business. At this rate he will be out of business soon!!! One thing I know for sure is that word of mouth speaks volumes for small business owners. In this economy you should be careful and treat loyal customers like you value them. This cleaners is fantastic! They do a professional job and are very helpful! I would recommend them to anyone I know! They also clean comforters in house so they are cleaned in a timely fashion! Also their location is so convenient! read more
