These people kept jerking us around about the problem, ended up charging us to fix TWO supposed issues and it didn't really seem like they even knew what the issue was. They just kept stabbing at the problem until they got it running again. The first guy (I believe his name was Matt) tried to install a part that wasn't even for this system which caused even more problems down the road. So they scheduled to come back a few days later to replace the motherboard. When they returned, they installed the motherboard but barely did any kind of testing to make sure everything was working fine. They saw it was blowing hot air and left. Not even 15 minutes later, the system starts blowing out nothing but cool air and won't shut off. So I try to contact them about this, only to be told it's probably a loose connection from the new 'THERMISTER' he left on and that they can't return until the next day. They wouldn't give me a time and accused me of harassing them when all I was trying to do was find out what was going on and what time they'd be back since I had to work the next day. Rather than come back and assist me, they tell me to just turn the power off to the whole house in order to force the heater to stop running. Sooo.. that's what I did and waited until they returned the next day. The technician showed up early the next day and tells me that the part the other guy left on (which was not for the Brivis system) had to be replaced and apparently put the Brivis part on instead, then left when he saw the system was blowing out hot air. I noticed the system seemed to be blowing a lot harder and much hotter than it ever did before. The back of the house wasn't warming up. In fact, none of th air was blowing through those vents. When I realised there was obviously something still not right, I tried contacting them again, only to be told it's a separate issue and they can't come out until later the next week. They insisted it was something wrong with my ductwork.. which never had a problem before. So at this point, I'd had enough and called another professional to come in for a 2nd opinion. Good thing I did! These guys really had NO CLUE what they were doing. They didn't service the unit like they should have. They didn't check the filter which was the first call to action they should have made. They didn't program the motherboard they had just installed so that's why the unit was only blowing in the front and not the back of the house. There was NOTHING wrong with my ductwork yet they were certainly going to try to charge me to replace that too. BEWARE of this company! They are NOT ethical. If you live in or around Sunbury, contact AMJ Climate Solutions instead!! Matt from High Rise Climate Solutions is a scammer and incompetent!

Two young guys from McKinnon Heating and Cooling replaced some broken heating ducts. They came with all the parts necessary whereas other quotes I got assumed that they would have to return with the parts later after looking at the job and would charge me more for that travel time. It cost me $270 which was better than other quotes I got. They were recommended to me by a neighbour who is a tradie.
