I got my wood stove last year and burned all last winter. I never heard of them until someone told…read moreme of their good experience with them and he was very satisfied. So I contacted them and they came out to assess. I never went to their showroom but they set me up with a catalytic wood burning stove from Vermont Castings. They said I would need a platform for the stove which they designed and constructed that is BEAUTIFUL. They matched the platform to my oak wood and tile floors. It is a piece of art work yet functional for the safe use of a wood stove. The stove is in the most formal room of my home and I was worried a klunky stove would cheapen the overall look but it actually enhances it. Needless to say the room is now a sanctuary for relaxation with a warm cozy fire. The installation went smoothly and my conversations with Mark in sales answered all my questions about the stove and how to use it---a totally new experience for me. Then after the season they came to sweep my chimney and check things out--again all went swimmingly and I was still very pleased. They continue to answer all my concerns. This season I was sold wet wood by an unscrupulous local seller. They helped me to understand how to navigate the situation and confirmed the thick resin I was getting on my stove windows was indeed from burning wet wood. So I got new wood that is dried out better and no creosote. I am so grateful they can educate me and troubleshoot issues for me. Most recently the baffle on my stove cracked in half and was hanging. I was nervous about burning. I talked to Kyle and Duane. They were immediately helpful and said it was under warranty. They even had one available so I did not have to wait to have it delivered. They were just out in my area the week before the baffle broke. They are quite a distance so they bundle their trips which is understandable. They had no trips scheduled for my area any time real soon. However they did send someone out anyway even given the distance. So the problem was taken care of in less than one week and I am grateful my stove is operational for the cold snap we are in.My experience from initial inquiry, to the install, to the chimney cleaning, to the replacement of the baffle in lightening speed to answering all my concerns about burning. So I highly recommend them and thank them for the warm cozy and relaxing moments in front of the fire. And for the aesthetically designed platform and fast/reliable installation of the stove.

I recently had my Honda Foreman ATV serviced with Big Open Road. Frankly, I am not very happy. I…read morebelieve that I was WAY overcharged for servicing the carburetor. I was charged 4 hours labor for cleaning the carburetor - no parts. I had it disassembled and reassembled myself and maybe not as thoroughly clean, but in way less time. I had asked them to take a look at several things, which they did, but did not fix them either; they just pointed them out to me. Things I already knew. Moreover, when I rode it last the electric start worked fine and it was returned to me in non-working order. I was also surprised to learn that they did not know where the rubber cover over the carb went. I put it on myself in 5 minutes. I believe that in the time the carburetor was soaking and the battery was charging, they could have at least adjusted the brake cables and trouble shot the starter, as well as other routine maintenance. I have seen this before where a "wordy" business man comes up with "talk" and justifies bills with words rather than action. And the horror story with Big Open Road continues. After riding my allegedly repaired ATV only twice, the carburetor failed exactly as before. I called Owen about it only to be told that "he does not guaranty his work" and that I was out of luck. Finally, he told me to "stay off his property". This coming from a business man that claims to conduct his business according to Christian principles on the website. I purchased my dinner table and bedroom furniture from Swiss Valley 20 years ago and I knew what I…read morewas getting, so I returned in March, 2024 for other furniture. I ordered two cherry end tables and a table lazy Susan. When I picked them up, I didn't pay any attention to the end tables because I was in a hurry to get back home. When i arrived home, I removed the end tables and saw that all of the legs at the floor were chipped and damaged. I then took pictures of all eight (8) legs and then called Swiss Valley to make my complaint. I originally spoke with Jacob and explained the situation and was asked to forward the pictures that I took. I was then asked to call back in about 30 minutes to speak with Mindy, but she had to look at the pictures first. I called back and spoke with Mindy and she stated that there was some damage to the legs. After a conversation of about 20 minutes, Mindy stated that that they would replace the two (2) end tables and Swiss valley would call me when they were ready to be picked up. I asked Mindy that since I had to drive approximately 75 miles in on direction to return the damage pieces and pick up mine and return another 75 miles, is there any kind of refund i could get for my travels. She then stated that she could only give a $ 30 in house gift card. I wasn't please about only $ 30, but I agreed to in and will wait their call. On July 01, I received a call from Swiss Valley stating that my furniture was ready. I returned with the damaged end table and closely looked at my new tables. They were in perfect condition. I "swaddled" the tables and left. Things can and do go wrong no matter where you buy stuff, but Swiss Valley was AMAZING by rectifying the problem. I will always recommend them.
