I sent 6 rolls of APS film and a disposable camera to them to have prints made and it's been exactly one month and I have yet to hear from them. I contacted customer service and they give me the song and dance of being super busy but it's looking more and more likely I got scammed and will never get those memories back. They did not do well with our large order. The president of our camera club sent in 19 disposable cameras from a challenge that we did back in May 2023. We knew that it would take a while to get them developed because of the quantity and it did. We filed out separate order forms for each camera with the participant's name and included them with the cameras to be shipped to their facility. We decided to get the negatives back with a USB for EACH camera. A little over a month later and we were informed that our order was finished and it was shipped back to us. Once opened, we received the negatives and ONE USB with ALL of the images on it. That USB was missing folders along with being glitchy and corrupt. It had to be reloaded multiple times. Our president reached out to Process Once to inform them of the issues and all they said was "Oh sorry" and it was "more of a convenience to put them all on ONE USB" That is not what we paid for nor requested. read more

Based on the reviews here I sent my disposable cameras to Process One. Before doing so I checked their web site for a description of the service, and any red flags. No red flags, no mention of any problems. I sent in the film and some number of days later I received an email saying that the developing would take more than 30 DAYS. As you can imagine, I would not have sent them the job if I had known that ahead of time. I have not yet received the results, but I feel deceived. I really wished I had not used them. read more

i paid in full for 35 pictures to be developed, qnd while most turned out great there are photos of which i can see on my negatives that i dod not receieve a copy of on my usb. its just extremely frustrating when you know you did everything perfectly and their negligence leaves me without multiple photos i was very excited to see. i dont understand why i got zero heads up as well woth at least 8 of the photos being completely missing. for customers paying full price for less than what they are promised you would expect at the very least to be explained why you did not recieve some photos. it's ridiculous read more

I asked for 11 slides to be made into photographs. Only 6 of then are clear and/or in focus. When I called the business to tell them I was not happy with my photos the woman on the phone gave me a prepared speech of excuses on slides and prints and that it was all my fault for asking them to do this. I had not even explained to her yet what my complaint was! I was also charged for a CD of the photos which I never asked for. She stated there was a check mark on my order form. When I told her I did not check that box she stated all they can do is go by the check marks on the form. Never offered an apology or any suggestion of a solution. I have been charged $30.00 for only 5 photographs! Outrages! I am from out of state and it appears to me that this company is very unprofessional and dishonest in their practices. EXCELLENT Customer Service! I recieved an actual reply to my initial e-mail (so many companies don't bother), easily printed out an order form and sent in my 20+ year old roll of TMax with the special instruction for extra aggitation (assuming they do B+W by hand, but probably not) with 4x6 prints. I had no idea what was on this roll of film, and it was from my 20s so it could have been anything! ;) I was both phoned and e-mailed that my order was complete, provided payment and in a couple of days, my prints were in the mail with a shipping confirmation...no embarrassment necessary because they were mostly of cats. Quality control was horrible. Using theFINDlab for now on to get my work done right by real professionals. They let me walk out with damaged medium format film. I drove nearly 2 hrs to get my work developed and didn't even get stopped to resolve an issue with my film. See attached photo to see what I'm talking about. read more

I dropped off my video to be converted to a DVD and 7 weeks later, I still don't have it. The owner does not return phone calls and when I finally was able to get in touch with him, he screamed at me and told me I would not t be reimbursed for shipping and would not be compensated for the order in any way. He was accusatory saying I gave him my incorrect (home) address and that he sent it as I had written it. Apparently he knows my address better than me! I was scolded like a child and told if I want the video, I'd have to pick it up myself in Kansas even though I reside in Colorado. Worst business experience I've ever had. I sent in 3 rolls of APS film. I asked to have the film digitally developed and uploaded to Dropbox. I was charged for this service along with film developing and shipping for the film. I did not ask for photos. I did not receive photos. I have written Process One 3 times via their email at info@processonephoto.com. I wrote them on July 24th, July 30th and August 9th. I have not had one single response. Also, the canisters that they uploaded are so blurry and dark. You can't make out any of the images and I was charged full price. I am not really sure what the policy is on this but they had to know that they were bad and could have reached out somehow to let me know before processing and sending. That is really not the big issue. The issue is that they charged me for film developing, they have not responded to any type of communication and they have not refunded the charges that were done without my order or permission. read more

I have used Process One over the years off and on for, wait for it... film processing! Once upon a time they were THE place to go if you needed something weird (as in an odd film type, not something off-color you photographed, but I suppose you could inquire about that) processed. But seriously, who shoots film anymore? I certainly don't, so this little shop in the middle of a JoCo asphalt sea fell right off my radar. Fast forward to this week. I'm slowly assembling my son's graduation announcements and I ran out of the wallet-sized senior pictures. My photographer -- being the fantastic and talented bunch that they are, J Smith Innovations -- supplied me with a CD of images so off to KodakGallery.com I went to reorder. Ooops! You can't get wallets printed through them locally and I don't have time to wait for shipping because I've managed to wait for the last stinking minute to do this. I googled my way to Process One. YES! They print wallets (and many, many other sizes) locally. YES! You can get matt paper. YES! You can get professional-looking rounded corners. YES! I can pick them up later the same day. YES! They are open late. I uploaded my file to their super-easy website and placed my order for pickup. I included a special request about cropping. When I stopped in that evening to pick up my prints I found very friendly staff who had not only read my special request but acknowledged it and mentioned that my request had not been a problem. She found my order quickly and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The quality of the prints is far superior to what I received on my original order from KodakGallery. The paper is thicker and the wallets are already cut apart (complete with rounded corners!) unlike Kodak. The prices at Process One are on par with, or less than, what I've paid KodakGallery. I can not begin to express how impressed I am with Process One photo restoration. I brought in my dads official military photo to be redone it was so faded you could. Ot make out button details and even his hat and starting to horribly crack. When I pick up the finished product I was truly speechless all I could so was cry! I have had very prompt, efficient and great quality work from Process One over the years. I mailed a roll of film and waited what had been a normal time to check on development, received no response to inquiries and eventually drove down to the shop. I was completely unaware of the volume of work, new handling restrictions and demands being placed on the shop during the Covid 19 situation - something a simple answering telephone machine statement or a sign on the window could have explained. Instead, when I pulled up to drive though and asked a couple of questions, the gentleman went berserk, subjecting my wife and me to a profanity-laced tirade, ending w/ a threat about what my prints would eventually look like and a slammed the window. I was stunned - and pulled back around to defuse the situation w/ an appology - which seemed to help a bit. My recommendation is that you stay away from this place for a while or until his shipment of Prozac comes in. PART 2 : The owner called us and apologized for having "lost his cool". We chatted, he explained the stressful conditions under which he has been working (his shop is one of only a few country-wide currently processing film, coping with truckloads of packages and hundreds of email inquiries daily), then he apologized again. And again. We will continue to use this business, since the people there do very good work. We consider this an aberration brought on by stresses connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. read more

I use disposable cameras all the time and go to process one about once a month. I have never had a single issue with their printing services and the turn around time is incredibly fast!!! If I drop off before noon usually my prints are ready by the end of day! I'm very thankful this is a business that is near me. And their services are practically a luxury compared to what's available In other locations. read more

My elderly mother had huge box of old film, disposable cameras etc. I decided to develop for a Christmas gift. Good reviews for Process One, so I tried them out. There was one very nice gentleman who called to let me know that some of the quality of the very old film was not worth developing. I appreciated the heads up and we decided to discard the poor quality items and move forward. I was still charged for the developing already done and I felt that was fair. However, when I received my photos (on a flash drive) there are not very many included (not sure what happened to all of them???) and I paid an exorbitant price for the little bit of results. I mean A LOT of $$$. I feel that Process One should have CLEAR cost listed on their website/paperwork. I asked for some samples of photos via email before making payment to ensure that I was getting quality work. The photos were fine. A representative assured me they had done their best w/the age of the film etc. and that my order was complete and on the way. Months later, I get an invoice for more $$$ owed. I have to call to investigate and they say that it's still part of my order they had just finished processing. WHAT??? I was told my order was complete and the $500+ I had already paid was final amount. This situation is still ongoing.....have not received the rest of my order yet. read more

I understand that coronavirus has impacted their ability to get orders out, but the 3 month turn around time as well as the poor customer service, communication, over priced services, and most importantly damaging around 60% of the photos i sent in. I am so beyond disappointed with my experience and have lost photos of some of my most precious, one of a kind memories. They tried to make it seem like i had damaged the film or the photos werent good quality even though I have been using disposable cameras for years and have never had one single issue. I sent in several rolls of film in back in the beginning of June, about 10 in all. Customer service was easy to get a hold of and they were always prompt and courteous in their communications. Two of my rolls didn't turn out. One was my fault due to poor exposure and another was completely black which I thought was unusual (maybe they had a light leak?). The only reason that I'm not giving them 5 stars was due to the lengthy turnaround time as I just got my negatives today. I understand that this was due in part to COVID-19. I would give 0 starts if it were possible. They received my camera early June and it's now almost August with nothing back. I'm extremely frustrated because I've gotten no emails back from them when I try to ask for my camera back. The turn around times for Covid say 21-35 days when in reality it is double. They emailed me back once to say my photos would be processed at the end of the next week, and it has now been 2 weeks since that email. I just called to ask for my camera back and it's clear that it was never processed in the first place when they said it would have been by now. I took in old 35mm film I found while moving. Ended up that there were no photos and I was still charged $8.71. Crazy.

I sent in one disposable camera with 15 photos on it to be developed two and a half months ago. I just now received my prints even though it was supposed to be a "45 day turnaround time." If you go by turnaround times, go ahead and double it with this company. When I looked at my photos, they ended up horrible. I used the same camera from the two-pack recently, sent it to a different lab, and they came out perfect. Don't waste your time on this company. I highly recommend using Richard Photo Lab in California (mail-in options available), I received my film in less than a week. read more

Well.....hardly know where to begin. It has taken almost three months to get my images processed. I sent five rolls and they only processed four of them. While the young lady that answered my emails was nice enough....she didn't seem to grasp the problem! Her initial excuse was that they were processing a thousand rolls a day.......which I totally don't believe. Then it was one excuse after another. Today I get my negatives, the invoice showing the charges for five roll......and the missing roll of film in a bag saying they could not process it....without any explanation and yet no refund for the overage. I recently needed some photos processed from my Kodak Advantix cartridges and was so thrilled to know that a company exists that still processes these cartridges. After I sent in my orders, I had a few questions and when I called Process One, I was greeted on both occasions by two different people, and both were very pleasant and professional. I sent Process One two rolls of film, and one of them came back completely ruined. Not only did the lab incorrectly process my film, but they clearly don't check over their work before they send it out. I emailed them with an attached image, innocently inquiring about what may have occurred in the hopes of at least receiving an apology. Instead, they asked me what I may have done to damage the film, and my response was ignored. Those photos were of once in a lifetime experiences and they weren't even deemed worthy of a response to my email. Never again. read more

I chose this place because it has 5 star reviews. I came here to get my passport pictures taken. Staff was pleasant and courteous. Service is very fast, but I am not impressed how my photo came out to be. The photographer took my picture in a half bended knee while I'm standing up and that made my face look like I have double chin because I have to tilt my head down in order to face the camera. $15 for a 4copies. They lost my negatives and blamed it on the post office. I mailed Process One a bunch of very old irreplaceable negatives to develop. They only sent me two of the negatives back. The manager said that either I only sent them two negatives or the post office opened my envelop and stole the rest of the negatives. These negatives were photos of billboards that my neighbors husband painted in the 1950's and 1970's. They were the only records we had of his work. Don't trust this company with your photos. read more
