I could have easily purchased more items than I did ($85), but I have to fly home and I can't pack everything I wanted! Then we went to get lunch. My mom and I both had a blt. She had a hot mocha latte and I had the grasshopper mocha iced. Everything was really good! With both of us getting chips, our bill was just under $50. I would get everything again. Gift shop, restaurant area and restrooms were kept clean. Then we went out back to walk along the water and see the covered bridge and chapel. Most everything was kept nice outside, too, but I was disappointed on the clumps of cobwebs and dust on the chapel and the dirty and cobwebbed windows on the outside. It wouldn't take much to wipe those items down. If I'm in the area, I would definitely stop in again!

I was picking some out and noticed there were different prices for the same size candle. $9.99 and $14.99. I chose some of the $9.99 ones and put them on the counter and then proceeded to get my cards. While doing so I glanced up and noticed the sales clerk changing the prices on the candles. I asked her if she was marking them up, to then mark them down....so not REALLY getting the 60% off sales price. She became very flustered...giving me my answer. WHAT A HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE!! I left with a cozy Wisconsin hoodie ($40) and my boyfriend purchased not one but two Wisconsin hats ($35 each). Against my better judgment I ordered from QVC Cottage Garden Farms trio of live dwarf lavender…read moreplants. They were very pricey but I took a chance because I liked the idea of being able to grow lavender in my area in pots. Also because there was a 1 year warranty I thought it was worth the risk. Well sure enough the plants failed. Prior to the end of the warranty period I emailed Cottage Farms with proof of purchase and described the issue. Within a few days I received a response indicating a replacement would be sent after processing. Well that was about 6 weeks ago. I have sent 2 or 3 follow up emails asking for a timeframe for when I will receive the replacement. Each time the response is vague and states they cannot give me an indication of when it will be shipped but I will receive a notification when it ships. Today the response included a statement that processing takes 10-15 days. Well it has been 6 weeks and it is Springtime, which means there should be no objective reason not to ship the replacement. For this reason, I will never again order from this company and do not recommend them. It is also interesting to note that when I searched their website I do not see any dwarf lavender plants for sale. So, buyer beware. At this point, I doubt I will ever receive the replacement which will mean that the company does not honor their written warranty. Shameful.
