The spa is in an old house on Lemarchant Road and doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that deter you. Once you step inside, you smell the wonderful aromas and you'll find that the older building just adds to the charm of the place. I've tried many of their services, including massage, pedicure, all-over exfoliation and facials. I usually treat myself to a package so that I can be pampered for a couple of hours! The staff are very friendly, caring, responsive, and have excellent product knowledge. They do a thorough job and always make me feel as if I'm the most important customer they have. When I leave the spa, I'm so relaxed and pampered I practically float out of there.

I knew I wanted an abdominoplasty, so I set a goal, started saving, and did my research on the options available here in Newfoundland and Labrador. That's when I found Dr. Joy Cluett -- and I can confidently say I made the right choice! From the very beginning, the entire experience was outstanding. Brandi, the office manager, was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. She answered every question I had (and I had a lot!) and was so supportive as I saved up to pay out of pocket. I never once felt rushed or pressured. Dr. Cluett offers something unique -- she has her own fully staffed private surgical site in St. John's (not hospital-based), which made the process so smooth and efficient. I was in and out with zero complications, and the care I received was top-notch. I stayed in a nearby hotel that night (which is required), and went home the next day with very clear, easy-to-follow post-op instructions. They removed nearly 4 pounds of excess skin, and the lateral liposuction gave me a waist I haven't seen in years! The liposuction recovery was the most tender part, and I'll never forget the sneezing fit two weeks in that set me back a day or two -- but even still, I was back to my office job (no lifting) just one week post-op. I've been incredibly fortunate to heal beautifully, and at almost 40 years old, I'm proudly wearing a bikini (for the first time in 30 years) -- less than three months post-surgery! I feel amazing, and for the first time in forever, truly confident in my skin. Everyone's healing journey is different, but my experience with Dr. Cluett and her team has been nothing short of exceptional. I've recommended her to everyone who's asked -- and will continue to do so. If you're considering this surgery, do yourself a favour and book that consultation. You won't regret it.
