We hired Tim from Honey It's Done to remodel our shower after someone else left us in the lurch and…read moretook out our shower. I got a few quotes and decided to hire Honey It's done. I paid Tim 50 % deposit up front but then my father in law decided he would do the job for me instead. My father in law contacted Tim to let him know the situation and to please give me back my deposit. Tim said it wasn't a problem but that his bank was comprimised and couldn't send it til that was straightened out. Now he tells me that after I sent him the deposit to HIS bank that he sent it to corporate and that he is now fighting corporate to get my deposit back because he had lined up someone to do the job and that he spent a day looking for shower doors for me. All I got from him was excuse after excuse after excuse. Nowhere in the contract which was done on word does it say that my deposit was "Not Refundable". Now my shower is not completed as I'm waiting for my deposit back from him to finish the job and still gives me is excuses. DO NOT trust this company! Tim is a sheister that just steals your deposits!

A simple small project to prepare walls for paint and perform minor repairs all above what I can do…read moreeffectively in a timely manor, thus hired HID to perform the work. First guy came on day one to collect deposit and the did not show for three days, on the next two days did 6 hours of work each day to putty walls that really did not as mush as he put on, but ok lets see where this is going. Next three days contractor did not show no contact no info, then finally call main office to get things going and he was hear for one day and then disappeared for the weekend, a weekend he said he'd work. Secondary people that supported the first contractor did more work and better work then the contractor. Then called main office again to get things going, again, and find contractor in hospital but no one informs me that is where he is thus I am in the air as to if things are going anywhere. As there is no return of request for info. This is now 1.5 weeks into a 5 day work project. After some more time awaiting the contractor and support workers came back for one day and got some more work done and then no contact again. This is now at the beginning of week 3 of a 5 day project. Delaying putting the home up for sell, using my last dollar to do this and facing bank maybe wanting to foreclose and steal my profits from the sell going to pay the low outstanding mortgage and not me. But if I sell then its mine but now things look worse then when we started. Still awaiting replacement contractor to see if things get better but so far no. May have to take this to police for FRAUD.

No customer service, unfinished deficiencies from warranty period, significant engineering issues to structure and parking lot (very poor drainage, pavement and ground sinking around perimeter, mould in garages, exposed wood on exterior, heaving floors, drywall installed by infants, crossed electrical circuits tripping, 100% condo fee increase in two years to cover, exterior stairs not secured properly, ..., ...., ... ). Their "courteous professionals" ignore all phone calls, emails, and any effort to contact them. Their representative has an excuse for everything, and seems to think because we live in a condo that we know nothing about construction. This company is only concerned with building their own castles at the expense of the customer. DO NOT BUY AN EHRENBURG HOME!
